Tysm!!!! The screen went black before a game started. I tried everything. But i did what you said about holding the button down for 10 secs, then waiting and trying it again. It worked!! Can't thank you enough. I was freaking out!! Only had it a week now.

Quest 3 has 18W, not 16W power adapter. Using more powerful can't damage Quest. Quest drains as much power as it needs. We don't known why some Quests burned their charging port, but it happened also on original charger.

dude thank you so much. my quest got dropped recently so I thought it was broken because I kept getting black screen. I have a 3rd party silicone face cover so I think that's the issue. I guess I'll cut out the part thats covering the sensor.
I was about to factory reset my quest, glad I didn't
