According to my wife the last thing I need is another Bible. But after this review I just had to add it to my collection. The features are so complete I couldn’t pass it up. I had the Life Application Bible a long time ago. This is a much improved version. One of the things that sold me was the harmony of Kings and Chronicles. These histories have always been confusing and this helps to clear things up.I also did not have the NLT. It will be a great addition. MikeinMinnesota
I have the KJV Life Application Study Bible and I wanted the NLT personal size. In this way I can take it with me when I'm going out and wanting to read it deeply and take notes. I have other Bibles as well but you really answered all my questions regarding the personal size. So again I thank you for this upload. This really helped a lot. God bless you sister.
thanks for the review - v helpful. you can get the normal size in red letter btw, but only in the hard cover (ISBN 978-1-4964-3930-7) and the brown/mahogany 'leather-like' cover (ISBN 978-1-4964-3931-4) it seems according to their website

Thanks for the review! I just snagged the personal size on eBay for a pretty good price. I expect smaller fonts with study bibles though a larger font is my preference. Have you read the personal size much, and what was your experience?
I have been wondering which size to get my Mama she needs a NLT I have been telling her & my daddy who is an elder deacon at our church and they need a NLT as they have gotten older and I was telling them about the maps & stuff.. I want them to be able to study via online since they have learned how to use a smart phone ( hopefully they can do it)!!
I like watching this channel before I get one I want the gift bible and a good compact one I love the life application study Bible teal chronological I have that bit can you get it in normal order sporty don't know what you would call it I like the ilistrated bible may I ask if you have a video for that thank you
I ordered the Life Application Bible 3rd edition and, I was disappointed in the quality of the paper used. The paper in the Bible I purchased was thin and, see through. Seeing that text come through from the following page was distracting. I did order the large text and, maybe that makes the difference. I’m not sure since I didn’t have the standard size.
They did make a 3rd edition KJV- it came out in 2022.I have the large print; and so far I'm loving it. The text and notes are so much easier to read without squinting.
Is there a difference between the large print in teal vs berry? Christianbook doesn't list them as the same version for some reason so I'm wondering if there is a difference besides the color? I see berry says 10.5 font and teal is 11... Can you confirm the font size is bigger in the teal color? Thank you!!!!

There is little difference between 2nd and 3rd edition..we see a two color tone in 3 rd editions.and maps and charts are same.. commentary are same
If these big study bibles didn’t have thin pages they would be a foot thick and weigh 10 lbs.

Hi Tami. We don't have the berry to compare, but I'll ask my contact at Tyndale. Can you provide a link to the berry that you're looking at?
They're the same. Both are 10.75. For one they rounded up and for the other they rounded down.
