I got the rubberized green leaf edition with the suede-like bottom part of the cover/spine! I love the daily reading plan from another book, called The Bible Recap for a 1-year Chronological Guide and resource. The full color again on this 2nd edition is amazing, the commentary, charts/tables, personality profiles ...but, the new Jewish roots added are fabulous! I am not bothered by the overlapping bits for folks new to bible Study, this Life Application Study Bible has a very engaging quality. Great video!!! I was raised Catholic and was never really taught the actual bible growing up. So now, I am absolutely obsessed with Study Bibles, and this one is loaded! LOVE it📖🙏
Randy I so appreciate people like yourself who put the Word out there. I am very MUCH an adult however I wasn't raised by Christian parents but I always had a hunger to know Him and to read His love letter the Bible. So finally one Christmas during a Christian Program that offered salvation at the close of the program I took God up on His offer. I have never been the same. No I never walked on water but my soul was awakened. As I get older I can't satiate my thirst for the Word. Some day I am looking forward to getting a very precious word of God that I can swoon over 😊. I have only had a KJVB so I think that's what I will probably continue with. The Life Application Study Bible seems JUST the one because of all the educational perks it comes with. I went to Barnes and Noble yesterday to find one that had KJVB to no avail. Someday 💕
I have received this Bible. I absolutely love it. Easy to understand and it got me engaged. I like that the writers don't get into theological aspect too much. The notes are mainly focusing on the life application.
I plan on reading my regular Bible using a chronological reading plan.would like a chronological Bible without any commentary, maps, charts, etc. just the bible
I have this one, but not in that oak cover. Mine is hardback. It is quite a lot and can be a bit overwhelming unless you’re coming to it to study specific things.
Love this Bible. I totally recommend it for someone who doesn't really like the 365 day read that most chronological Bible's offer; and just want to take your time in God's word (when you have time) and at the same time allow the life application notes to help you self-reflect 🕊🤍💛 the Bible itself is well put together 👍
Personally, it is a good book. An encyclopedia for bible study guidance. This type of study bible by NLT is well recommended for students in bible study in biblical history and in theological perspectives. We praise God Almighty for such provision in Jesus name. Amen.
I really appreciate your review, no one is doing this kind of review on line. Thank you- Can you recommend this as a Sunday school teacher bible? And Randy , the pages flipping is music to my soul.
Thanks Prentis! My favorite is the Thompson Chain Reference. It has a lot of tools to build Sunday School material, but you have to do it yourself. I've written a lot of tutorials on the TCR blog to show how to do this. www.zondervan.com/p/thompsonchainreferenceblog-home/
Im new to the Bible and want to start reading and learning. I am torn between 3 - this version (I appreciate the review BTW), the Zondervan NIV Life Application Study Bible (Large Print), and the ESV Archaeology Study Bible. Does anyone have suggestions as to what might be the best for a new reader/adult student? I appreciate the Cronological version, as that is a helpful to me, not mention the historial archaeological information which I find to be fascinating. I dont need the large print but may in 20 years...thank you in advance.
I plan to read through the Bible in a year in 2024 with this Bible. Does anyone know if the Bible includes a daily reading chart or if one is available online specifically for this edition? I realize that Tyndale makes a one-year chronological Bible, but I wanted the study notes included in this Bible. I am just looking for a simple list to make sure I stay on track to finish in a year. Thanks!
I don't remember and I don't have it close by, but if I didn't mention it in the video then you can find it in the written review. I cover every detail in writing.
I think I replied to your question in another video, but just in case...Hello, I have this same bible and have not found an "official" plan and I also reached out to Tyndale and they had nothing, however I did find a group on facebook that covers this specific bible that has a 5 pg 10-15 min per day plan. If you're interested in the group, let me know.
What an incredible resource, but i can only pray for such, the cost of my bible wishlist could rival the U.S. debt! Thanks for showing this off though.

Randy you did another amazing review of this study bible.
Thanks Ruby!!
Thanks a lot for the video, I like when you show some interesting things about this bible. Blessings!

Looks very nice.

Gorgeous Bible! We are a Bible-In-A-Year ministry and it would be great to do a chronological run with a Bible like this

Is the regular life application better? Or is this one better?
What are the differences beside the chronological?
This is beautiful
Hi Sean. I'll need to go back and compare. This will take a few days to get to them.
Question, why are premium bible’s never thumb indexed ✌🏻

Another good one is the Standard Lesson Teacher's Study Bible: biblebuyingguide.com/teachers-study-bible/

Question about the paper quality; thoughts on highlighters and/or pen bleed through??
could you please make a video review on the Schuyler Quentel RSV FY( Full Yapp ) in Imperial Blue Goatskin and let me know what you think?
Hi Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try, but it's very difficult to get Schuyler's for review.

Does the Life Application Study Bible come in KJVB and Thumb Index and bonded leather? Is that too much to ask for from a Publisher??
It's available on CB www.christianbook.com/kjv-application-third-edition-bonded-leather/9781496439802/pd/439802?event=ESRCG
What an incredible resource, but i can only pray for such, the cost of my bible wishlist could rival the U.S. debt! Thanks for showing this off though.
Are the notes the exact same as the Life Application Bible with additional Jewish notes? I already have the Life Application Bible. Thanks.
Does it have a daily reading plan ?
Is there big difference 2012 vs 2023 edition?
Good question. Unfortunately, I don't have the 2012 edition of this Bible to compare.
Do the pages get stuck together?
If I remember correctly, I did have to separate the pages.
Do you know if the standard version without gold guilding be sticking as well?
Thank you
@@BibleBuyingGuide I have just bought this on Amazon. Will be here in a few weeks.
@@seanham1699 it won't. The gold is what causes the sticking.
