Great vid! Are the rear pegs high enough and/or back far enough to be able to comfortably do double peggers easily? They look a little too low or too far forward?
Get super comfortable doing one handers, and either shift lock or put your foot under the peg so you don’t need to hold onto the bars. I like to get to balance point, and once I switch hands I try not to adjust the throttle too much since my left hand still feels choppy and awkward. I control it mostly with the rear brake
Clean air mod done to it ???? I just got a 300 before I had a fully set up 250 Im wonder how you did the clean air mod cause the 300 is way different then the 250 I don't want any FI lights to come on your anything
just got a 03/04 i hope to have to look half as good as yours, just uploaded it to my channel , cant beat $1000 for a running bike with cosmetic issues , doing a build series as we speak check it and let me now any tips you got for me
TurboSquirterDotcom do you have any issues with oil going into the air box? I have the older bike and mine is leaking from the air box from how long I hold it, I added a little extra oil and then took some out 🤷🏽♂️ still lost lol
Robert Devera Yes I did! Oil from the crankcase gets routed into the airbox in stock form. I removed the hose that runs from the crankcase breather to the airbox. Then I capped off the airbox with a plug, and from the crankcase breather I ran about 5 feet of hose up to the highest point I could in the bike, and then put a filter on the end. I just got the 250 but unfortunately I'm from South Africa so to import parts are craze as the Rand (SA money) is so low to the pound and dollar, where can I get help with the cnc files to maybe get a sprocket and caliper bracket cut here I SA?
Did you have an issue with your key not be able to turn? I don’t want to have to remove the ignition from its original spot but it’s not turning on me if that makes any sense!

Not comfortable at all for double peggers. Too low and you end up needing to hold on to the bars since the position ends up being leaned back very far
What was the top speed with the sprocket? I just put a 50t on mine and and curios how much it effected it

How do you deal with the engine not getting oil when you lift it for wheelies?
Robert Devera I just keep the sight glass about 3/4 full, but I didn’t do anything else. 1 year of abuse and it still runs strong
