You can't set them free. If they were born and raised in captivity they wouldn't do well in the wild. People breed and raise them for pets and that's probably how he got them. The conditions they were kept in was abuse for sure.

Something funny (funny WEIRD not funny ha ha) is going on. Why separate the sheds so far apart??? Lined up side by side running a Bush-Hog through there wouldn't take 5 minutes. And no trails from walking to the other buildings.....why rent sheds if you aren't using the other ones??
That is what should have been done. They cannot live well in that environment, and you know they are in those other sheds. I want to know what he had them for. he wasn't "rehabbing" them. Something else is going on. Those sheds were horrific ovens. Someone needed to be called to report him.
I don't know about where you live, but where I live you are not allowed to have wild animals caged up in buildings. I don't know if they need to be reported or what, but just for the sake of the animal that is unfair and cruel and that should not happen. Beyond that, you did a great job!

Yes, that was animal abuse. Being in a hot shed, filthy conditions and in a small cage. They were probably bought from a breeder as a pet which means they have been in captivity their entire lives. They can't be released like many have said. They would not do well in the wild. They would have to go to a sanctuary. Having a pet fox is a pretty popular thing. Thing is people get that cute little baby which grows up and is very active, destructive, smelly and they often bond with one person which can cause problems with others in the house then they end up like the ones in the shed. So sad. Love the drone footage!

We picked up a 1232 that a guy was raising snakes in to sell. After cleaning it was open to air out for a month before I could sell it. People do strange things. Good job.

I don't know if this shed can ever be aired out or cleaned. Fox urine stinks to high heaven. I know it is soaked into the floor. Snakes smell too but their urine/poo didn't soak into the floor since they were most likely kept in glass cages.
I'm sure it "stung" to hear so many negative comments, but time has passed, a lesson learned. And I hope you now will continue with your channel as MANY people enjoyed it, hope you will return...😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤

Every state is different and yes I agree if someone is abusing animals they should be reported but none of us know what happened . You ever think maybe he did report it an didn’t want to put it out on the internet that he called it in so his business doesn’t get messed with . No market for fox pelts in this day and age. Why would anyone keep them? When I was a kid (73 years now) my neighbour kept foxes and mink, but the fur market was strong in the 50s, 60s, and probably even the 70s.
The cruelest animal is the one that doesn't report animal abuse. Here in Texas he'd get 10 years in a cage, himself and you might get in trouble for not reporting.

Those foxes can't be released. They were probably bought from a breeder who breeds and sells them as pets. That means they have been in captivity their entire lives so wouldn't do well in the wild. They need to go to a sanctuary where they will be kept outside and cared for properly.
Maybe they sweep and vacuum it then spray with diluted bleach and then run an ozone generator. Then rent or sell it to the next user who won’t know about the foxes.
One thing I can guarantee is that no amount of cleaning will get that smell out of there. The smell from the feces and the urine will have soaked into the wood floor so the entire floor will need to be ripped out, the walls thoroughly cleaned and the floor replaced before the smell will be gone. This person clearly thought they had a great idea but did not even begin to think it through including if they would have the time to properly care for the animals. Which should have been kept in a covered pen rather than inside a storage shed. Watching what that trailer can do, I will bet it cost a boatload of money.
Bet inside of the mobile home is just like the building. Yeah, county animal control should be notified. You dont know how bad or what's in the other sheds.
You could have checked on your phone to see if having foxes is legal in your state. You could have called animal control to come get them, after making the statement yourself that it was too hot for animals to be closed up in the buildings. There are probably other animals in other buildings, along with the foxes that are still there. You chose not to do what was right. I hope in the future you might at least consider seeing if any laws have been broken. Animals can’t speak for themselves. They need our help at times.
