They were different, but they were also very much the same. They were ultimately professional politicians who both wanted to deal. They had both lived through and to a large extent personally inflamed the Troubles in Northern Ireland. But they also learnt the futility of the conflict and matured to the point that they wanted the future to better than the past. Both found the better angels of their nature as peacemakers and a lasting legacy.

I thought this film was surprisingly funny.
Especially the line about the 50th wedding anniversary and sentencing.
