Hey up Si!!! Mikey got me into G-Form when he was riding for them. I really like the pads man. Super slender and comfortable. How you been keeping mate? Trampa keeping You well?
Always great to see the promotion of safety gear. I'm wearing the triple eight hired hands wrist guards (bit bulky but feel well protected) Leatt knee & shin guard dual-axis (really sick design and comfortable pads) and a cheap full-face motocross helmet (Heavy, so looking for a new upgrade)
Cheers man. Gear up I say as be protected for sure :) ah that’s some good gear you got man and it does the job for sure! I’m gunna check out some that you mentioned for sure 👊🏽
Hey Brother! Thanks for stopping by man. The pro-tec pads are still great pads man. It’s just each to their own these days man :) Big up on the kinds words too bro. Looking forward to your new flux video :)
Funny you mentioned the D ring. I'm waiting on the Predator DH-Air because it has Fidlock. I also got Brake Free to put on my helmet so cars can see when I slow down
I know this video came out a long time ago, but I'm surprised the price/safety ratings were as high as they are. Granted, it's a lot more expensive now, but even back then it was a lot to shell out. On safety, a motorcycle helmet is obviously safer, just a lot less comfortable, so idk if it should have topped out at 5 stars. I am definitely reading too much into the rating system haha.
Hey man! Thank you for stopping by the channel. So here we go haha “you can’t put a price on safety bro” 😂😂😂 but I do agree on what you have said and it’s good you have been researching into the ratings too! Shows your going for the right stuff man.
I have the same G-form pads you initially used but over time I found they stretched and became too loose ! People sometimes over look carrying a mini first aid kit too.. handy with fingerless gloves. P.s. put tommerite on your tomatoes next year!
Hey man! So I should of mentioned this in my video as crossed my mind few days after. The rugged knee pads now have a strap on the top along with double layer silicone for grip too. You know what I think a mini first aid kit is a total winner of an idea! Good shout. 😂😂😂 I know or get charlie dimmock over to sort that out haha.
Good news dude. After your comment I ordered a mini first aid kit and it came through yesterday. Thank you for the good idea. In hindsight I should of had it a long time ago.
@@MarkHybridZ Hopefully you won't need it, touch wood! But could be handy on group rides too!...now that's covered...where can we get hold of some morphine? lol
@@MarkHybridZ huh, would not have thought so. Was it hard to decide what size to order with the tsg or is the sizing pretty accurate once you measure your melon? And would glasses fog? Thx, great review hasn’t seen the foam pads, I’ve got protect from the skating days and those have always been solid but more bulky compared to the foam ones I’m sure as the protect were meant sliding on your knees in a pipe or bowl or ramp if needed.
@@shaggyfries depending on the size u get, yes u can. some people like a tighter fit, some like a more looser fit. I've seen a lot of riders with glasses inside full face helmets.
Hey fella! Great to receive a notification upload from yourself. Very good film Mark.
Hello Mike. Nice one for sticking by me bro! It’s always appreciated 👊🏽
American here. 100% vouch for those flatland gloves. I'm still typing because of them.

I picked up those pro-tec knee pads for the skate park around the same time before I got into eskate. I have no complaints either.

@@shaggyfries yeah man I can. It’s a tight fit of course
