This is the dopest esk8 in the scene right now!! Did not disappoint me one bit, blew all of my expectations out of the water. Theres so much going on with this board that makes it one of the best if not THE BEST esk8 to own right now. U own this, ur the bigdik player in the scene🎉
Thank you so much! With the limited time I had with the demo board I can’t wait to have it longer! Truly a masterpiece of engineering and customization!
This board looks sick and I'm so glad everyone had a great time at esk8con! For this price point I'm really torn between this and a Hoyt St Tabor. Looking to Upgrade since this Stinger doesn't have the battery range I really want out of a commuter to get to campus from home with errands in between. Might get both even tho I really should make a choice
The technology advancement in esk8 is going crazy! Lots of awesome stuff out there now 😎 still waiting for someone to produce a hover board 😁 after watching this maybe radium can do it 😂
Haha, it is wild to see how quickly it has advanced in such a short time! More and more tech will come pouring in and it’ll be incredible! Hoverboard here we come!!!!
It was fantastic to see you again on the east coast this time! I realized RTS was off that after the fact 😆 I’ll see next time I’m with it if we can turn that on! Truly amazing piece of technology here
@@DrewElia same same! Already looking forward to the next visit mate. Also note RTS needs to be installed. It requires a turning sensor in the nose of the board as well as software upgrade. 😀✌🏻
While I'm not yet to the level you guys are, and I still love my first (and only esk8), a B-One Titan X, I've been super tempted to pick up the new Acedeck N3. Then I saw a video on this board as well a couple of weeks ago... and immediately feel in love with it. While I certainly don't need, or have the ability to exploit the capabilities of either, I want at least one of the two! The N3 is limited to pneumatics, but the idea of dropping over $3.3k on a board has my commonsense alarm screaming! If this were $3k for a board. Hopefully they will have a sale in the future, as I really want one! In the meantime, I can't wait to see more on the Radium Mach1!
@@DrewElia Drew, they state "US$3300 MID 2024", so I'm not so sure about that. If it is well below that to the US, I'm a buyer! Also, you have a lot more exposure to new products... What are your thoughts on the street esk8 to buy after seeing and riding them, and why? Your experience means a lot for those of us without your access!
@@DrewElia Basically for use on the street or 2 in 1 boards. I'm not really interested in jacked up AT boards with suspensions, etc. Neat, but I personally don't really get the point of taking a board through the woods, I'd rather use something better suited if I'm going to do that, lol!
Mad wheels v2 105 are the top urethane wheel I use for all of my boards. It’s the perfect amount of range and grip that I love. Dadbods from loaded are also great choice as well but overall my top pick is the mad v2 105 wheels
I wish more reviews of these high performance boards would actually test their performance. I only ever see people going 30mph or less when reviewing boards that can go fairly fast, and have huge price tags attached. I want to see reviewers pushing these boards full throttle and really testing the specs properly.
Yeah there is a limit to how much risk people want to put down you know, I personally have hit 40mph on a few boards but there is a level of risk involved. Do I always want to go 40mph? No. Like ever. I don’t think it’s honestly necessary for a skateboard, I’m more comfortable at the 25-30 mph and just hanging out. Race boards though like the Mach 1 deserve to be pushed and enjoyed as they want. Personally I love the look and feel of this board and wouldn’t even need to hit 45 mph on it but knowing that power is there is good to know.
@@DrewElia Maybe I am more of a niche, but I came from downhill longboarding and we all used to throw on leather suits, go into our speed tuck, and basically free ride at 40+mph. Of course this is before I got into esk8, so after gaining access to brakes, the whole thing has never felt safer. We were all doing glove down slides to stop and predrift corners etc. The reason I got into esk8 was because I could go fast without having to go up and down hills all day. My next esk8 build will have around 45-50mph top speed and I plan on throwing on my leathers and fullface and really pushing that board.
@R1C4RD0R3D15 I too came from a downhill longboards I had puck sliders and everything. Times have changed indeed haha, I’m also a father of two now so a little bit more risk involved when it comes to things. I still rip it at 40 mph though now I just have my 6 year old and 3 year old cheering me on
@@DrewElia it's not about top speed for me. I liken it to a V8, heaps of power there when you need it. Generally my top speed is around 55kph and I'm happy knowing that there's another 15kph available if I really want/need it. But the power that the Mach One puts out is just so usable. It's a pleasure to ride, and I'm still on Mode 2 on the Hoyt Puck!
I was thinking the same thing! I'm guessing they don't offer a lot of life (the wheels anyway), but even so, I'm sure that last me for quite a while. They look pretty sharp too!
Great review. I’m really curious about the trucks. Looks like they attach to the enclosure as well. But they can go on almost any deck? I want em for my diy. Honestly a privilege to test it out in Vegas. 😍😍🔥🔥
So it looks like it’s an under mounted swing arm I’ll confirm that they are able to be used on other boards. I don’t think they have plans on releasing them for sale any time soon as they are trying to get their preproduction ramped up but who knows!
@@DrewElia the trucks and swing arm enclosure mounts are specific to the Mach One.We do have R6 trucks for standard decks as well, but they are all sold out ATM as we're focused on production and don't have funds/time to divert to side projects.
Depends how you ride. I've seen this thing absolutely hammered by Dylan Bell doing big jumps, burnouts, and drifting around carparks and gravel. No other production board would hold up to that abuse. This board is built strong!
Though I do agree that boards are getting more and more expensive, they are also getting more and more advanced. I never thought I myself would spend such an crazy amount for a board since only two to three years ago the best of the best was only 600 to 800 competing with boosted 1500 price tag which obliterated boosted features. But after buying my Lorentz major I can honestly underatand now and say until you've really try a board within the "boutique" genre it's hard to explain and rightfully so justify to others. I just know that they have their niche purposes for a niche crowd, not for everyone but once you've gone there, you can't really go back haha.
Yeeees dude its honestly an amazing thing to have implemented into a drivetrain system and esc. Its some f1 shit that helps with daily riding. I believe(not totally sure)it can be turned off also as this is a vesc based board runnin maker x(best esc in the game) but honestly i loved it, game changer.
Basically what everyone said already. Radium has the ability to turn on and off torque vectoring of their wheels. Letting the traction push the outside of the wheel harder to let you aggressively push even harder!
It’s a little more than that, but in it’s basic form as you go around a corner it will push more power to the outer wheel in the corner giving you more ability to lean into it harder and exit the corner sharper
It's got a ton of customisation in it so you can tailor your ride. I turned it off, travelled 100m, then immediately turned it back on again. With Liam helping to tweak a few settings it bounces through carves which I love. still got heaps of setting to play with too.
I had my camera on a gimbal 😆 I hand held a few close up shots cause it is to much 😆 ever tryib. Ride at 30 mph while holding a gimbal and controlling your speed through traffic? 😜
Because top speed isn’t what it’s all about? I’m not basing the looks on F1 I’m talking about everything else. The trucks are completely revolutionary to the industry, the chassis is a stand alone with the deck being mounted on top of it. The first of its kind with RTS torque vectoring steering to the rear wheels. Literally completely changing what we know as a eskate! Any eskate can go fast, literally I’ve done 35mph on a $700 belt drive, there is so much more to a board that going fast. It’s how can the board be controlled, how comfortable is it at that speed. Speed isn’t everything which this board can be geared to go 45mph but I wouldn’t care about that, because the fact is you could easily do speed an any other board. But this board can get you there quicker, safer, with more stability in the corners and power out of the corners. So sorry that you give 0 fucks about the looks…. But it goes 45mph pending your gearing… 👍🏾
