Mark! I have been waiting for this since I discovered your 1st impressions videos. Well done on being brutally honest in your review. Please upload more!
Hi Mark enjoyed the review nice to see you enjoying the board. Been super busy with the new job but must get back out there on the board myself soon!!!
Hey man! How’s it going bro? Yeah man get out on the board bro and enjoy yourself while we have the nice weather. P.s if you so fire some pics over to me :) Thanks for the support as always Si
Mate , what a board. Cracking review .. even the negs were only peeves . Also wanna say that people bang on about long mileage , they never talk about how long it takes their legs to recover 😁 Great vid mate .. sending big love to the valleys isn’t it 😘🤙👊
Hey man! Ah thanks for the kind words man. That is very true! People never mention about how shagged their legs are after a long ride. Again thanks bro! 👊🏽
I could not get the kingpin back in the truck plate also! So there is a small LIP at the end of the kingpin near the threads. Take a small sander /sandpaper and sand the lip down a little making sure you don’t sand the threads. Went right back in.
Hey man! Thank you for stopping by the channel and watching the video. So for me I don’t think that was the case. As I had brand new base plate and the with a brand new king pin. The original kingpin would fit in the new baseplate with no issues at all. I think it was the base plate that had the issue man. Either way we are both back up and running for sure :) 🙌🏽👊🏽
Great videos ! Well it took me 2 days to figure this out & stressed me hard . I almost gave up and was sure I wasn’t going to ride for a month.I was completely in shock when it worked. Exact same issue… pretty sure it was the same. I used an electric oscillating multitool which has that triangle sander. Worked great.
Oh mate it stressed me out too man. Especially the how much it cost me too. I’ll have a look at this in the morning man. As I still have the baseplate and a kingpin. As it’s got me interested now too. Thank you so much for the kind work too man! Legend!
Thanks for the comment dude :) yeah the vibrations pop it off sometimes man. Sucks like. But the board is fantastic. Yeah man I’d rather be cruising and enjoying my surrounding for sure man
Hey bro! Nah I think you would be fine. You would have to change the bushings setup that’s all man. Thanks for watching mate. It’s appreciated as always man. 👊🏽
Hey Mark hybridz , I appreciate the video this is going to help me make a decision between the lonestar supersport or the kaly board xlr, go before I make my purchase, i’m trying to do my research to the best of my ability and I need to know because other TH-camrs have complained about the wheels not being Balanced… did you have any issues with yours and if so how did you fix it. Also I’m 6’2” and 230pounds size 12 shoe , do you think that my shoe will rub on the tires ? What Set up would you recommend for me as far as bushings and bearings? I just realized I asked a bunch of questions but since you already have the board I figured you would know better than me. I appreciate any response and appreciate your video as well I’m looking forward to making a purchase really soon
Hey man. So first off welcome today the channel dude and thanks for stopping by! Soooo I never had issues with the wheels balancing man. Iv seen it online though. People was using weights to iron that issue out. Thankfully I didn’t come across this man. Bushings bro. Just mix and match. I was using reds up front and green on the back. Bearings don’t even bother dude. Stick with the stock. Ceramics in eskate is pointless. Size 12 feet. I honestly don’t think your foot would be rubbing on the tyre man. But as for bushing again dude. Try stock set up first and then experiment to your liking. Hope that helps you dude? If you have any other questions hopefully I can answer them for you.
@@MarkHybridZ Yo thanks man I guess just one other question but I don’t see on the website where they have any waterproof ratings, I live out here in the Seattle area and as you may know when the rain season comes it stays for a while. I don’t want to worry about trying to navigate around puddles because it’s honestly pointless to ride on a wet day I would just have to wait for dry days on my old board, do you feel confident running through puddles and wet gravel with your board?
I never rode my Lacroix in the rain man. If anything goes wrong with the board Lacroix it will be down to you then. Plus the thought of loosing traction on the road and slipping out would not be fun. But I’m guessing you could always email Lacroix and ask them that dude.
@@MarkHybridZ Ok well thanks mah brutha, pleasure speaking with a fellow eskater u stay safe , I can’t wait to get my board and I’ll let you know what I think once I put some miles on it.

It's like Kaly watched this video and went back in time and addressed all your issues hoping you would buy theirs 🤣🤣🤣🤣... I'm serious, literally every complaint.
@@MarkHybridZ for example the battery charge port cover, for existing customers they made a 3d printed cover that never falls off. For future customers they have a really nice high-end twist cap that can't come off.
In terms of ALL the app issues, they now include Meter Pro hardware with GPS that allows you to see everything from performance to GPS, practically everything about your board and your ride. Motor performance, temps, what speed and how your board was doing at a specific location. Your ride map, etc.
