I'm a huge fan of this thing, I think it's a great deal in this spec. In the limited off roading I've ever done a more narrow vehicle is a good thing. Love the look of the Raptor and other big wheel types as well, but as far as the deal you're getting here they don't stack up.

Freaking salesman have no clue about break in periods. I like to buy my car fresh out of PDI where the tech was the only one driving it. Salesman says stop on it, I say NO!

I own this EXACT vehicle and I LOVE IT! Only “upgrades” I got was the automatic trans and the modular bumper. I absolutely love this truck with its color and clothe seats 👍👍👍👍
They say you can slap the samsquatch gear on any variant so does that mean you can get a base with the lockers & the rest of the squatch set up ? Ps if that's the 2.3 then I'd say do that KN airfilter and a good dyno tune as some have shown a 70+ horse power increase.. enjoy your new rig.
@3:40 is why you don't buy a car that's been on a dealers lot for 6 months. new cars need a proper breaking, not to be high-revving, hard breaking, and start-stopping as they move it around the lot and long idle it for long periods as they show it off. demand single digit miles!
You can't beat the 2 door base Bronco. It's a lot of bang for the bucks, and a blank canvas for mods to make it an off road monster. I won't go too far into my Bronco order fiasco, but it resulted in me just canceling the order. I reserved in Oct. '20, and ordered on May of '21. Because on constraints, and Ford changing the allocation formula to favor the big dealerships my local dealers allocations fell a lot. He had a lot of orders, and with all the mess my build date was pushed to possibly the fall of 2024. I gave up. But I'm a big boy, and figured it was just a first world problem. Enjoy that new Bronco, it's a beauty.
I got the same one same color but 2022 and manual transmission. And the sticker price was $28,500. You will love your Bronco! I did option the modular front bumper, aux switches, roof rails, and block heater. Since I got it, I put on a 2" Zone leveling kit and 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT's on 17" matte black Fuel wheels. Ceramic tint, 12" sub and amp, Husky floor liners for the front back and rear, rocker panel armor, yellow Oracle triple fog lights, Rough Country ditch lights, bug shield, and several other little things. Just hitting 20,000 miles with no issues and it handles like a boss off road.
I liked that the delay explained itself, when you waled by the loaded version for ten thousand more. one could hardly expect them to not build a bunch of the high profit cars ahead of every base model they put out. when an ex GM executive , John Drloran, wrote a book he touched anther subject of profit using the Cadillac Cimeron as an example. Said they added about $500 worth of parts to a nova, got thousands back in profits.

I bought a 4 door with a 2.3 and manual transmission. I think it has plenty of power . No trouble merging on the interstate. Plus currently st 23.7 mpg.
Fifteen months is not bad. I ordered a two door Black Diamond in January 2021 but after waiting more than a year I changed my order to a four door in May 2022. Car was built in September and delivered in November. I like it but would have preferred the 2 door. Have fun. 😎
I would take the model with the 255 7517 tires two door with a 2.7 L engine and maybe slap on some good monotube shocks or twin tube Rancho RS 5000 X shocks and Collett a day.

Wranglers sell for almost as much used as new. 7th Wranglers have a solid #1-piece steel frame, yours has a unibody frame which is not good. 8th Yours is loud as in at 70 mph you have to scream to hear each other. I waited 18 and 1/2 months for my base manual and yeah it was worth it. I freaking loved it besides the hardtop issues. When I got my first notification that it was going to be billed was in November of 22 and I actually got it in very end of February 23.
Mexicans build the best engines, everyone knows that. One Mexican can build 50 engines per day. Compare that to German engine production over at Mercedes AMG and you will see who wins. Ford of course!
Amazing, you wait 9 months for delivery of your vehicle which is already crazy. Then, Ford has to let you know if your "qualified" for price protection from year over year price increases of a vehicle they took 9 months to ship to you. What if you didn t qualify for "price protection"? You have have to pay extra for a vehicle that you ordered and put a down payment on almost a year prior? That's crazy in my opinion. As the British would say, Ford is taking the piss.
Would be nice if it would have AT's. That way it would be ready to take on medium 4x4 roads straight out of the box. But I guess you buy a set for $1500 and sell the ones on it for $500 for a $1000 cost. Hopefully the traction control will work since it doesn't have a locking diff.
Similar story for me. Ordered 2022 cyber orange 2-door base with stick in late Dec. 2021. Received mid November 2022. Price matched at under $32k. I assume you ordered 2022 in Feb but got converted to 2023? A base at this price was best bang for the buck. Doors and roof off is great. Recommend Top Lift Pros roof removal tool (expensive but worth it). Love this car. Only obvious thing you are missing is the manual transmission 😊

Congrats! Base models, from what I hear are hard to get. I'm up here in Belleville Michigan. My dealer here in Belleville is only 7 mi from the Wayne Assembly plant that builds these bad boys. I have a 2022 Base 2dr, with a manual transmission. It saved enough money for me to personalize it the way I wanted instead of paying for options I did not care for. It is a lot of fun.
The two door is small, but I had a 1977 bronco when I was in high school. I wanted a bronco close to it as possible. We do not have kids, so having the 2dr hasn't been an issue. If we had kids, definitely get the 4dr for sure.@@PDLM1221

By its size and basic design, the generation Bronco you just took delivery of, is definitely more of an off-road vehicle than most other vehicles on the market. I drove the old Series Land Rovers from 1964 to 1993. Been driving a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon since April 2012. I'm still driving the same Jeep, and I still very much love the vehicle. It's been perfectly reliable. My Jeep was factory ordered from a dealership in Provo, Utah in January 2012. It didn't arrive at the dealership from Toledo until 16 April 2012. They had it for a day or two to fit some after market accessories: Warn winch, steel front and rear after-market bumpers; a moderate (1.5 inch) suspension lift, a second set of wheels and Michelin tires, and several more minor modifications. In my opinion, a factory order is definitely the way to go for people who plan on keeping "their" vehicle for a long, long time, as doing so gets you into the very vehicle YOU want rather than the vehicle the sales person and dealership want to sell you. You did a superb job placing a factory order from a dealership in California, as most dealers in California and elsewhere (including Utah and Hawaii!) want to make "the" sale today, and not in a few weeks, a few months, or the fifteen months you had to wait. God knows, I'll bet the dealership tried to get you into various other vehicles "right now, today," many times during your fifteen month wait. Congratulations for waiting!! This tells me you have well above average intelligence and think for yourself. Way to go! Andy McKane, Molokai, Hawaii.

yes, I love the Element as you can agree. Bronco has way more horsepower so overall more of a fun drive, but you can't beat the cargo space of the Element. One of the most practical cars I've ever driven!
Sport mode does not change the suspension. It may affect the steering but not the actual suspension. Since you’re in LA how soon before we see your Bronco on top of Bronco Knoll?

My wife and I have 2 broncos (long story …could have a TH-cam channel on it😅) anyway ….first one is a base model 4 door with the 2.7 ,hard top in azure grey (similar to Area 51) dealer installed lift and 35” tires on black method wheels…..before we bought this bronco we couldn’t find one we liked so I special ordered a outer banks Sasquatch model. Hot chili pepper red , 2.7 with the hard top and leather! Was told it would be at least 6-12 before I would see it ….3 months later the dealer called and said the bronco I ordered was on its way to the dealership! …NO WAY? 😮 Wasn’t gonna buy it but after checking it out and loving the way the one we already had drove , we decided to get that one also…. My salesperson said I had ordered a unicorn with the options I had placed …..doubt I’d ever find one like that! Which in my searching for a bronco originally , they were probably right!

the 2 door vs the 4 door, the 2 door it a little smaller but it's a more fun drive. Easier for parking than the 4 door too.
2 door Bronco sticks with the tradition of the original Bronco. I like it. Now they need to offer the 7 speed hand shaker with the 2.7L also.

I have a 2022 Base 2dr, with a manual transmission. It saved enough money for me to personalize it the way I wanted instead of paying for options I did not care for. It is a lot of fun.

The two door is small, but I had a 1977 bronco when I was in high school. I wanted a bronco close to it as possible. We do not have kids, so having the 2dr hasn't been an issue. If we had kids, definitely get the 4dr for sure.@@PDLM1221
Nice video! I hope you'll enjoy your Bronco for as long as you own it. By its size and basic design, the generation Bronco you just took delivery of, is definitely more of an off-road vehicle than most other vehicles on the market. I drove the old Series Land Rovers from 1964 to 1993. Been driving a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon since April 2012. I'm still driving the same Jeep, and I still very much love the vehicle. It's been perfectly reliable. My Jeep was factory ordered from a dealership in Provo, Utah in January 2012. It didn't arrive at the dealership from Toledo until 16 April 2012. They had it for a day or two to fit some after market accessories: Warn winch, steel front and rear after-market bumpers; a moderate (1.5 inch) suspension lift, a second set of wheels and Michelin tires, and several more minor modifications. In my opinion, a factory order is definitely the way to go for people who plan on keeping "their" vehicle for a long, long time, as doing so gets you into the very vehicle YOU want rather than the vehicle the sales person and dealership want to sell you. You did a superb job placing a factory order from a dealership in California, as most dealers in California and elsewhere (including Utah and Hawaii!) want to make "the" sale today, and not in a few weeks, a few months, or the fifteen months you had to wait. God knows, I'll bet the dealership tried to get you into various other vehicles "right now, today," many times during your fifteen month wait. Congratulations for waiting!! This tells me you have well above average intelligence and think for yourself. Way to go! Andy McKane, Molokai, Hawaii.
Thanks Andy! I'm huge fan of the old school Land Rover as a lot of people are. Yes, the dealership did try to sell me another vehicle during the halfway point of my wait but I stuck with it. Thanks again for the positive vibes and wish I could be driving this Bronco in Hawaii!!

yes, I love the Element as you can agree. Bronco has way more horsepower so overall more of a fun drive, but you can't beat the cargo space of the Element. One of the most practical cars I've ever driven!

I love our 4dr Base Sasquatch, I did upgrade to the V6.
Sport mode does not change the suspension. It may affect the steering but not the actual suspension. Since you’re in LA how soon before we see your Bronco on top of Bronco Knoll?

I think very comparable, however I don't know from experience. I do know Wrangler owners are buying Broncos too so that says something.
This thing should have a naturally aspirated engine option available with the 7 speed and not a bunch of stupid useless modes.

My wife and I have 2 broncos (long story …could have a TH-cam channel on it😅) anyway ….first one is a base model 4 door with the 2.7 ,hard top in azure grey (similar to Area 51) dealer installed lift and 35” tires on black method wheels…..before we bought this bronco we couldn’t find one we liked so I special ordered a outer banks Sasquatch model. Hot chili pepper red , 2.7 with the hard top and leather!
Was told it would be at least 6-12 before I would see it ….3 months later the dealer called and said the bronco I ordered was on its way to the dealership! …NO WAY? 😮
Wasn’t gonna buy it but after checking it out and loving the way the one we already had drove , we decided to get that one also….
My salesperson said I had ordered a unicorn with the options I had placed …..doubt I’d ever find one like that! Which in my searching for a bronco originally , they were probably right!

Most ford are not worth the wait. Only about 2% of their vehicles are after a while!!
