Dark Ride, Ocean City, NJ - *COMPLETE RIDE-THROUGH*

The Dark Ride is located on Gillian's Wonderland Pier in Ocean City, New Jersey. It was designed by Wayne Seddon and opened in 2013. This ride-through was recorded by Bill Cherkasky on July 11, 2024.

Very short and bright, but it has a lot of character. Respect for all the customized (probably home built) props and modified pneumatics.

Really 😂. Never saw a dark ride so lit up and unscary like this one. Best one I remember was the mine ride at hunts pier.

I think this ride is made a little less scary for smaller kids.

But the park is closing for good after this year. Supposedly for a hotel development. Jay made the decision to retire. That means the fate of the haunted house ride is up in the air right now. It could very well be destroyed and lost. A few years ago Jay sold the land to a developer but continued leasing it from them to operate the park. At least you got it on youtube. A lot of people are upset the park is closing, especially people who went there for generations and took their kids and grandkids there. The park will no longer be around for future kids and visitors to OC, NJ.
