If you have any black mould issues just use a cut in half a fresh lemon. Squish out the juice and work it in with the half cap rind. Very effective way to clean any surface with mould.

PD4104-5795 is ex-Northland Greyhound Lines (HQ'd in Minneapolis, MN) #N-5715, delivered new in June of 1957. IIRC, Greyhound used to order their coach's with N55 injectors for better fuel economy.

a suggestion to work safe under the bus up on the hill next to the shop is a pit 12 feet long 4 feet wide and 5 feet deep for the hard to get at replacement parts / in the pit a drain down hill and a Tarp to cover the pit from rain //add 2 poles from the base of pit to the trap to keep the trap from have rain come through when not in use as a cover

Heard all kind of stories from people that needed to use a bus in the 50's and they always talk about freezing in winter. Do those older units not have good heaters. If so believe I'd get some large heater cores out of something and some squirrel cage blowers and build some. But was wondering, always thought it made no sense.

I have found a seated bus, back center glass is busted, and a side glass is missing, sitting low on the ground, for how long nobody knows, still thinking about having it hauled in, skins look nice and all of the lights are there, has title, and said to have had the engine rebuilt shortly before sitting where it is, I may go check it out on Christmas break.

How hard would it be to remove the motor and tranny since their are only 4 points holding the cradle in and work on the motor and to replace all the hosing and the top end work as well? Would it be worth it that way you can clean and check the condition and repair anything that needs repairing behind the motor as well

I see this one has spring brake chambers added. She would have originally of had a hand brake that worked of the driveshaft. I use the word worked loosely because of the leaking on the old 2 strokes, they didn’t work well. Holding air for two days means she hasn’t sen a lot of salt.the ones I drove would be lucky to hold air two days
