This Star Wars Legends Mega Suite release focuses on the Dark Empire Saga, first published by Dark Horse Comics in 1991, and adapted into a trilogy of full-cast audio dramas. It was also partially adapted in the game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. For those that don't know, the story follows the aftermath of the Thrawn Trilogy, as Luke discovers that Emperor Palpatine survived his death on the second Death Star by transferring his consciousness into clone bodies and rebuilding a ruthless Dark Empire in the deep core world of Byss. He unleashes his World Devastators on Mon Calamari, and Rogue Squadron leads the charge to take them out. Everything leads up to the birth of Han and Leia's third child, Anakin Solo. It's a weird but classic story from Star Wars Legends.
This suite is my idea of how the music could sound for this tale, using existing music from the films, television series and video games. I've decided to use music from The Force Awakens sparingly to enhance these suites, but I will avoid using any of the prominent new themes. Rogue Leaders presented (to my knowledge) the only version of the Rogue Squadron theme performed by a real orchestra, which sounds great. Unfortunately, there is no clean release of the Rogue Leaders version of the theme, only what was shown in the canceled Wii game trailer, so I chose to include it with sound effects. If a sound effects-free version ever turns up, I'll re-release this suite.

In a way Exegol reminds me of Byss and instead of Master Skywalker seeing to his horror that Sidious is still alive Ben Solo now Kylo Ren sees Sidious still alive and I love that scene and Kylo Ren defying Sidious saying "You'll die first."
This is fantastic. Really sells how sinister Palpatine is. And Rogue Squadron! I so want that theme performed by an ocherstra.
Having an element from Star Trek The Motion Picture ala the V'Ger theme is a great touch. Proud to be a Trekkie and Star Wars nut

SUBSCRIBED. Dark Empire and Heir to the Empire are my two favorite Star Wars experiences, and this just brought back so many memories of my childhood; sitting alone at home in bed with dim light, immersing myself in the ancient teachings of Bodo Bass, the claustrophobic, haunting chamber of the Emperor's Executors, or aboard the grimy planet of Nar Shaddah. Nothing will ever come close to the memories I've cherished with this audiobook, but this music alongside it may just make me enjoy it far more. Thank you for the excellent upload!

Definitely! It was a great treat to hear the legend himself reprise the role, yet If eel the new actors gave a lot and did justice to the original performances. Either way, this was a great treat to find!

Man I really like what you did with the blaster beam in this it makes it sound like the world devastators are actually moving through space and keep the sound effects it adds the sense of the battle of mon Cala is taking place.
So, I play War Thunder, amongst a great many other piloting games.
And with this music, every damn game I play is actually a Star Wars Game.

I spent 4 years defending the sequel trilogy, just to watch TROS for my first and last time. I was incredibly numb leaving the theater. First time that's ever happened to me. It was definitely an off movie.

It would go a long way to mending the shatterd relationship with the fans. Too bad Disney and lucasfilm couldn't care less what fans actually want.

An anime style similar to macross would be even better, especially for the rogue squadron stuff. Someone made a tie fighter version anime short and it's pretty awesome.

When I heard the deep echoing clang at the beginning of the track, it made me think of V'ger from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Made me think: "Is this Star Wars or Star Trek I'm about to listen to?"

Since I am a Trekkie as well you should incorporate some themes from The Wrath Of Khan and the Kelvin Timeline films if you do suites from The Vong War, Dark Nest Trilogy, Second Galactic Civil War, Luke and Ben Skywalker against Abeloth and The Lost Sith Tribe. leading up to Master Skywalker and Darth Krayt against Abeloth and defeating her and of course The Fall Of Ossus
