Unpopular opinion: I really like the Fem-Pyro design. The one that's really exaggerated that's out there is kinda.. nasty, but oh well. A lesson to learn is people are going to be people, they're not gonna stop doing what they want because someone doesn't like it btw, lmao. It just wouldn't work if it was a basic skinny woman who can barely lift a bag of feathers. Sasha does weight 150 kg (330 lbs) after all. The model could look less.. generic however.

Imo I think the red spy should've at least been able to stab the female medic in the shoulder or arm but missed because the female heavy got there in time to stop a full kill. Therefore showing a sense of true danger if something had gone wrong. The biggest thing going against the animation is how short it is, only allowing such a small time for each character and set-up to those character's personalities. Which ends with cardboard female characters with no meaning to already existing fans of the universe. Personal Note: I think a big thing they could've changed is having the female characters see the pyro having a breakdown and actually helping him up while still taking the intelligence. Giving them a more fair moral standard while still showing they're gonna do their jobs as mercenaries, therefore adding more personality and likability.

I think it's more of a problem with how they're portrayed personality wise. Usually the focused team does win and usually kicks ass but there's always an obvious sense of "self-mocking charm" and vulnerability that only the characters themselves are taking themselves seriously; while this short portrays the Lady Characters as badass in such a way that even the cinematography is like "look at these awesome heroes" and there's never any doubt that 'maybe one of them will die or get hurt'. Imo I think the red spy should've at least been able to stab the female medic in the shoulder or arm but missed because the female heavy got there in time to stop a full kill. Therefore showing a sense of true danger if something had gone wrong. The biggest thing going against the animation is how short it is, only allowing such a small time for each character and set-up to those character's personalities. Which ends with cardboard female characters with no meaning to already existing fans of the universe.
Personal Note: I think a big thing they could've changed is having the female characters see the pyro having a breakdown and actually helping him up while still taking the intelligence. Giving them a more fair moral standard while still showing they're gonna do their jobs as mercenaries, therefore adding more personality and likability.

1:50 well none of this makes sense from the game's stand point but what ever, we've thrown that out the window, though the whole medi insta kill could happen if that were the taunt.

Over all decent animation wise, kind of breaks the game's mechanics but hey so did the Meet The series so it's acceptable, though this whole trope of women being better at everything then men because vagina thing is really annoying but against seeing as in the meet the series the Pyro single handedly slaughter the whole enemy team I guess I can over look it, still not getting my vote though.
