It’s the wrong method it can side your mechanical pencil to have a jam I tried this method almost a thousand times and ended up getting my mechanical pencil jammed so the right was is to take out the cap from behind and then take out the eraser and then put as many pencils you want to put so that you will not have to put more again and again and then put the eraser and cap at the back again and then press it and boom your mechanical pencil will be working amazingly
