I have a 2005 soft tail Deuce custom.Mine has only 11012 miles.i keep it covered and keep mine clean and only ride it a mile or 2 just to keep her running. No rust has short open drag pipes custom seat mine has efi and I just love the style of the Deuce. They are pretty rare I don't see them on the road.id probably never sell mine just because they stopped making them in 2007.
Todd , what happened to you back in February?...you said you had a near death experience?...im sorry to hear that man, please share, if you don't mind, what happened?...either way, glad to see you on you on you tube again brother

I have the 03 Screamin Eagle model with 20k miles on it. It's in showroom condition. I wouldn't take less than 13000.00 for it. Has the Thundermax tuner, V&H staggered and new cam tensioners.
John Derek Mitchell, it was a different time. Certain dealerships, in different parts of the country added premiums to bikes. Not to mention, people buy all of the warranties. That adds up quick. Back in the late 80's through the mid 2000's, these bikes were selling fast.
2006? Spring loaded cam chain tensioners . No thanks. I have a 09 Dyna with a gear drive and cams . Did the gear drive because even the hydraulic tensioners suck. The TC motors also have problems with shifted flywheels and bearing failure.
Adam Stein, had an 07 Road King with over 60,000 mi. on it. The only thing that I did to mine was, new lifters. (Around 50,000 mi.) The plastic shoes looked like new. Just started to see some marks from the chain. Nowhere near enough wear to warrant changing them. The guy I sold it to, is still riding it around town.
@@PanM8 TC motors are hit or miss. Some are good to go others fuck up by 35K miles. I work at a shop . I have seen cam chain tensioners go 80 thousand miles. Others not so much. I just picked one up in April, it had 14k on it. I had always wanted a deuce since 2000. Glad you are back on the channel
The deuce has always been one of my favorite modern Harley-Davidson’s.
I have an 07 FXSTC 96B. It is a pretty solid bike. Fast, powerful, smooth and reliable.
Todd finally on a twin cam 88, They are starting to get up there in the years now .
They made an 07 with a 96ci and 6 speed too. I’d love to get my hands on one of those
Love seeing more of ur videos now that u are more active!!
I just picked up an 05 vivid black and she turns heads!!!!! 2021 and it's stilll one of the best looking harleys on the road 👌
The first thing i would do is check the spring loaded cam chain tensioners. Unless they were changed already and someone can prove it
2006 is the year the factory changed that.

This bike, not use key?
No, it doesn't
Pups just cooling down enjoying life eh?
So I'm looking at one of these. A road glide. A road king or maybe heritage soft tail.
Had a carburetor on my 04 deuce. The most comfortable motorcycle ever. Sold it with 48,000 and now wish I’d kept it. Went bagger 3 years ago.
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome!
Geeezzzz.... That's almost a$1,000 a mile! Fukin rubs!
i have ridden few harleys and love them but why do they all start up like that, i mean they choke up a bit before start up.
When was the last time you came across an fxds conv?
I will be actively looking for later models, never know what I might find. Haven't owned one since 2009
A twin cam bro
Dude did you age in reverse?
It's all about the beard. The beard ages me 20 years
How much shipped to So Cal?

That bike is sexy
MY OLD EVO STARTS BETTER!
80 inch versus 88 inch with the same basic starter. Additionally this is fuel injected. Chances are your EVO was a carb model
Throw the dog in I'll buy it or maybe 41 trade

Yea but a couple upgrade kits and they'll last forever.
