    One of the most beautiful bikes every built. HD should think about resurrecting it. Had a 2004 and loved it.

      I agree. It was a very tastefully done bike. I get a lot of compliments on it when I’m out. This is definitely a forever bike. I don’t ever plan on getting rid of it. 🤘🏼

      Hey man, that’s great. My dad got his new in 2003 and he’s still riding that bike to this day. I love that bike and will always keep it. If anything I want to add to the collection. 🤘🏼

    I have the two-tone 2003 Deuce. I love the factory stretched tank. For a long, low, stretched bike it handles pretty well too. A good rider can get these to boogie down a country road pretty well. As for vibes, mine is smooth as glass. The motor is mounted solid, and I think that helps with the handling. The balanced engine is a gem.

      I love how the stretch tank sets over the big v-twin. That part of the bike is what makes it for me. 🤘🏼

      Thanks brother, I’m really liking the solo. I’m with you on keeping it. A deuce is just one of those machines you keep for good. I put some 12” thick diameter apes on it. Will do a video soon on them. Thanks for watching! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

      The plan is to get those holes filled in and painted. Was never much of a fan of the seat that came with the bike. It was a nice seat, just didn’t go with a deuce. It was so big it looked like it would look better on a road glide or something big like that. Thanks for watching buddy.

    Nice bike, but I’ve yet to see a better looking Deuce than my 2000. It’s black with the gray feather design on the tank and both fenders and tons of chrome. It reads 43 of 200 on the right side of the tank. Great for riding around town.

    *my last comment:
    : duece is a component
    all to itself.. eg: other parts
    cannot be swapped to it
    and everything else is a no fit
    by design so, any changes in
    it's lines will stray away from
    it's designers's purpose...

    Great looking Deuce.I have a custom 2005.iv lowered mine a couple inches she black I have a custom seat that looks right for the beautiful style of the Deuce.I have floor boards on mine.She only has 11012 honest miles on her.Shes pretty loud because she has short open pipes and my baby gets down the road very well I love to hit the highway twist the throttle and let her roll
    I really can't explain it but when I'm riding my Deuce.It's like we are one
    I don't know how else to say it.Iv had many Harleys over the years.But I'm so glad I came across mine back in 2018.No offense to anyone but I think the Deuce is In a class all by itself.I mean you can see road kings.Ultras sporters and all the other models everyday just about anywhere.But how often do people see a Deuce.I could be wrong but I think if you are lucky to have a Deuce in your stable it's worth holding onto and enjoy knowing they are no longer made and will be if not already a rare bike to have.After all they were only made from 2000 to 2007.And even then they were made in low numbers unlike all the Harleys other models.If I'm wrong then I'm man enough to say I was wrong.But regardless.I feel lucky to have found mine and I enjoy just going out and keeping my baby clean and in tip top working order.I love to take her up to the NC mountains and ride on the roads I grew up on.But I also love to take her over to ft Lauderdale Beach and just cruise by the ocean and feel the ocean breeze and the sound she makes as we ride.It would be pretty cool if there were a way to start a club just for people that have a Deuce.But I guess that would be a stupid idea for some.But knowing I have a Deuce just makes me happy.In the end what I guess really matters is ride what you like and enjoy the freedom riding gives us no matter what kind of bike anyone rides.But for me I think I'll keep my 2005 Deuce simply because they are few and far between and no longer produced.

    • @speeddemonsion1505
      @speeddemonsion1505  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for sharing your experience with your Deuce. They’re a blast to drive and you’re correct in their limited numbers. I definitely don’t see many of them. Actually, when I do see one it’s my dads. He bought his 100 anniversary Deuce brand new. He still has that bike. I took his for a ride many times which is what influenced me to get one of my own. I think I’ve had mine for about 9 years now. Keep riding buddy! 🤘🏼

      @@speeddemonsion1505 Be sure to take off the cam cover once in awhile.And check the 2 cam chain tensioners because of the guides being made of plastic of the time of production they are prone to break and do some major damage as the peaces go thru the oil pump Upgrading the cam plate and go with a high flow oil pump with hydraulic tensioners that are made today
      Will help you motor from having major problems in the future being that the Deuce is such a unique model finding parts is difficult at times.Just wanted to share that information hope it helps.

    Most important is CHECK the CAM CHAIN TENSIONERS. Some apparently have gone 10s of thousands, some like 10,000 miles!! It's a crap shoot .I have a 2005 glacier white with S+S full Gear Drive with 509G cams . Run out is critical, no more then 0.003 on the pinion shaft .👍🇬🇧🇺🇸😎OH forgot to add my brother in law has a 2003 anniversary deuce in the same Black color.

      They make these generic gromits for holes like that but I’m likely going to have them filled in and painted. I know a great painter that said he can do the job without disrupting the HD pin striping on the fender. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t lose that detail. 🤘🏼

      I have a custom 2005 Deuce with the stock 21inch spoke wheel but I had a seat made that fits and flows with the style of the Deuce.They are a pretty special bike in my opinion.Mine is factory black with pin stripes shorty opened pipes and she only has 11012 miles on it.Iv owned .ine since 2018.Were I live I don't see any Deuces here.It seems they are kind of a rare bike these days.I think I'll hold on to mine after all how many are still out on the road.I think they were only made from 2000 to 2007 and even then they didn't make to many during that time.

    what about stiker on fender? and hole?

    • @speeddemonsion1505
      @speeddemonsion1505  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      At this point I’m pretty sure I’m keeping that fender and going with a larger diameter wheel /tire to fill the gap. So my thoughts are to have my painter just fill in the holes where the passenger seat was. They make plugs for holes like that but they’re mostly temporary and they don’t look that great. It’ll be a lot more money out of pocket to get the holes filled and fender painted but it will be worth it. 🤘🏼

      Thanks man, my thoughts exactly. That couch size seat just killed the look. After having ridden it for a while now I can say the old seat wasn’t that much more comfortable. On a bike, if you go on a long enough ride your rear end is going to need a brake anyway regardless of the seat. Thanks for watching buddy.
