It's a disturbing trend. Many affordable buildings around the city are redoing their exteriors to bump up the rent to almost luxury prices. It's the same building offering the same units and ammenities, but because of some colorful exterior panels and a bit of trimming on the roof the price is increased by hundreds! We should all me smart enough not to fall for a cheap trick like that
Where are all the people that are going to rent these expensive luxury suites? For that kind of money you can rent an entire bungalow in Dartmouth, and commute, and still save money.
The best way to deal with fenwick tower is to let the university take the building back and make it for student residents and kick out the TP from the building. This is a wonderful location for students with heavy works and lots of my classmates lived far away from school and extremely suffered during school period. If Dalhousie could take it back, it would be perfect

I can't imagine this will be a successful project with the stigma attached to the location.
Always thought that tower looked out of place next to all those small houses. Maybe they should've torn it down instead of renovating.

I never liked Fenwick Tower. It's something of a monstrosity, and is entirely out of place in its location.
The location is good but it is the templeton properties make it bad
Developments need to stay out of the south end
This build is still going on.after several foreign work crews not paid.worst building.evil owners, blah, blah
