I used to be homeless by choice getting on frieght trains and hitchin never really being poor working seasonal jobs. But I would sleep on the streep sometimes and hang out with other homeless people and you learn a bunch from it. Seen all of the US pretty much for free besides food and the occasional bus ticket.
Wonder how many times he passed by and ignored Bruno when he didn’t have the dog. Anyone recording and telling a story can make themselves look like the good guy. Why did it take a dog loving him for him to show compassion to another human? An angel and a real man would’ve helped without a cause. Dude only did it for his dogs happiness originally. The dog is the real hero. It helped a homeless man and it taught its owner a valuable lesson about humility. Not to overlook people just cuz they’re down on their luck. It was the dog… not the person. Give credit where credit is due
My ex met an older gentleman at Warsaw metro station. He wasn't begging, he had a placket "I'm not asking for money, I'm protesting the situation of homeless people in Poland" He struck conversation. The man was a musician, he worked as an "instrument tuner" - adjusting the sound and pitch and all that I know absolutely nothing about. He worked for Warsaw philharmonic and his contract included a small, humble but conveniently located apartment. He breathed and lived music. Warsaw philharmonic had a contract with one of the big french city's one, they "rented" their musicians, and he was offered, begged to go - with a raise, and everything. In the meantime, he met a woman - this was a good opportunity to earn money for down payment for an apartment. Two years went by, he noticed something was wrong with his hearing. He's been ignoring headaches for a year, but hearing was his job security. Long story short, he had a malignant brain tumour. In the meantime, the woman he was dating told him her family kicked her out due to family dispute about business, she had nowhere to go and no income, having invested everything into working for her family. She promised it'll be all settled, he started sending her money. The treatment made him loose his hearing. He was slow to admit it, working was what kept him alive. He was forced by the french director to go back to Poland, on a false pretense. He didn't know the law, he didn't have money or health to fight that. After all,his loyalty was to polish employer, right? He was fired,a disciplinary firing for.. breach of contract, disciplined for betrayal, for "making us look bad overseas". But, he was in remission, one of the lucky few... The woman, his fiancée, was supposed to pick him and his things up from the philharmonic company apartment. She never showed up. He was left with no qualifications other than those relying on sense he almost completely lost (and to add insult to injury, the type of hearing aid that could help him wasn't refunded by polish insurance), little savings. Betrayed by people he trusted most, company he was completely devoted to. Rest in peace, Piotr. There will be people ready to pick this man apart for his naivety, for his mistakes, for "not making better choices", but those of us who weren't born into close knit families or life of economic privilege recognise how close we ourselves have been to ending in similar predicament. Illness, job loss, personal betrayal, learned helplessness, surviving years of abuse.. You just don't know anyone's story. Homeless people are just like you and me, and while painting them all as lazy, stupid, mentally ill addicts who are paying for their poor choices can make us feel safer from the fear that we will share their fate it ultimately reflect on our own humanity.
Stupendously said 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 it’s so very true, that people cast on blame individuals who experience misfortune when the cause is not obvious. Fear is no excuse.
just tears 😭😭😭😭😭 This was touching. Very very touching. Your might say it was the dog...BUT essentially it was you the owner who trusted your dog and helped the man. THANK you for being kind .
Yes but, if it weren't for the Sora stopping there to begin with and every time she saw Bruno, Sora's owner probably wouldn't have begun a conversation and gotten to know Bruno. Heartwarming! ❤🙏❤🐾🐾🐕🐶
I've seen lots of videos of people rescuing animals and changing their fates. It's remarkable to see one where it was the other way around. Wishing all the best for all involved!
Bruno and sora were definitely bonded in a past lifetime…from the first time she ever saw him in the street That was a soul recognizing another soul ❤❤❤❤
This is a heart warming story. If only there were more people willing to help other people, regardless of their circumstances. Thanks for shining a light on the plight of the homeless.
Animals always know! They know when you help them, they know when you’re a good person, they know when another person needs them. He knew Bruno needed him without him realizing. Magnifique!
Humans are also animals. And many terrible people have pets that love them. That's the whole "unconditional love" thing. A nonhuman liking a human in no way guarantees the human is good.
The opposite is true, too. When we see a stray dog, a lot of the times we want to help it. There are organizations just to help animals without a home. This dog is just doing the same thing, but for a person. Animals and people need each other.

I agree. 👍🏻 💯%!.. I noticed him saying that "Bruno made his own luck by smiling at my dog", felt like a gift to Bruno as well. Saying Bruno made his own luck with how he was, was even more empowering than saying, I helped someone today. He gave Bruno all the credit. That makes it even more inspiring.
I was at risk of being homeless very recently (literally 3 days ago) after my apartment burned down. But i was surprised to see the amount of people supporting us and helping us, we were able to get back on our feet very quickly. Before this i had only seen himan kindness in videos like this, its nice to experience it first hand. Im happy for bruno.

@razvane5130 well no not really actually. The Bible verses have changed to fit narratives to better control people. 🙌 to fit better in this world. It will probably change again in 100 years. It makes sense to all believe and act the same way. It's a peaceful existence. I live by the principle of always help others. You could be the one needing the assistance of day. If all you do it reject, you will become rejected. While I do believe there is a God, or a creator, I'm not sure where I fall religiously.
@@R.J.MacReady1982 The Holy Bible is unchanged. Thousand of manuscripts including the ones found and the Dead Sea confirm this. The Holy Bible is the Word of God, it cannot change. People distort the Word of God to accommodate their sins: lie, cheating, adultery, greed, pride, etc.
@@razvane5130 Untrue that it's not changed. Christ's divinity wasn't even agreed upon until Constantine in 300AD with his council of Nicea, threatening to exile any bishop who didn't agree. The powers that be at those times decided what was best for them in terms of controlling the masses and the bible texts were certainly manipulated with that in mind in terms of what books were tossed out. And that's not even taking into account the copies and copies of translations. The worst things in the world have happened in the name of god and some of the worst people consider themselves believers. Sadly far too many christians do not follow the teachings of their savior.

But I would sleep on the streep sometimes and hang out with other homeless people and you learn a bunch from it. Seen all of the US pretty much for free besides food and the occasional bus ticket.
I know everyone is hyping up Sora (deservedly so!), but shoutout to her owner! The definition of an angel and real man! WOW!!!
Exactly a real man. A kind caring loving man who still respected Bruno's space and wishes ❤
Ffs he even says he had a prejudice..…. How is he an angel? And a real man? Cuz a dog taught him how to be a human? Lmao backwards ass Christians
LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOURSELF.
The only real power we have is to help eachother.
He is the Good Samaritan
Well said. A simple biblical command.

My ex met an older gentleman at Warsaw metro station. He wasn't begging, he had a placket "I'm not asking for money, I'm protesting the situation of homeless people in Poland"
He struck conversation.
We often don’t learn to see red flags when we are not raised well.. which is most of us 🙁
Stupendously said 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 it’s so very true, that people cast on blame individuals who experience misfortune when the cause is not obvious. Fear is no excuse.
There are so many today who are a paycheck or incident away from homelessness yet cast judgement on them too.
Well said.
Be at peace, Piotr🥀
Some live with disability not knowing there is money for them to make it easier and they ashamed to ask, or tell anything.... wish someone guide them

If a doogie likes him so much, he has a pure soul😇
just tears 😭😭😭😭😭 This was touching.

Omg I thought the same, I was in happy tears the whole time
Animals have great instincts to recognize good and bad people.
I've seen lots of videos of people rescuing animals and changing their fates. It's remarkable to see one where it was the other way around. Wishing all the best for all involved!
very true
This comment made me cry! We don’t deserve dogs
Yes! Very astute! 🫶🏻🖤🐺
Bruno and sora were definitely bonded in a past lifetime…from the first time she ever saw him in the street That was a soul recognizing another soul ❤❤❤❤
It was beautiful to see...but ugh I hope there aren't past and future lifetimes. One here was more than enough for me!
It is so clear they knew each other at another time ❤ what a bond
Amazing story. Thank you sir for being so kind.
past lives arent real..
💯💯💯
I pray Bruno is doing well today, 7 months after this video was posted. ❤️🙏
They were probably together in another life and the dog recognized him.❤
I thought the exact same thing.
Same, he remembered his scent. I remembered the movie. 🥺😭

Here we see a french citizen be homeless while illegal immigrants live inside 3-star hotels for free, with allowances from the government.
I believe in reincarnation (for both people and pets). Glad they reunited ❤
That dog is pure joy. And the owner listens to his dogs and clearly respects his intuition. Super cool story
@@englishatheart We’re not talking about a bad human here.
Animals know that they are hungry, need to poop and sleep. Other then that the dog is just friendly and the guy is a scumbag.
The opposite is true, too. When we see a stray dog, a lot of the times we want to help it. There are organizations just to help animals without a home. This dog is just doing the same thing, but for a person. Animals and people need each other.
Bruno is young and handsome too! Best of luck Bruno. Saludos from 🇲🇽 si se puede
A beautiful story. Thank you Sora for seeing a good person in need and refusing to leave his side

I love how you gave no thanks to you❤ you saved him and in turn around the world have changed the hearts of and minds of millions of others so from NJ USA 🇺🇸 standing ovation 👏🏾 8:04
I agree.
I'm happy to hear people still have a good heart 💜

Beautiful and heartwarming story. It shows that dogs are empathetic creatures and that they understand the ways of people.
I wish his story will become a movie. Hoping for a writer or a director to see this
If only more people in the world were this kind & giving..

This may be the most uplifting, wonderful story I have seen from the dodo. It filled my heart. This dog is an angel, you just can’t see her wings.
Even if you can't see wings, 4 legs are a giveaway an angel is present.

What a wonderful,heartwarming story!
It just makes you realise how much we can actually judge someone even though you think you're not judgemental. Seeing this dog love this man so much and taking him as he is, makes you see. This is how we should all behave in this life. This is what matters. This dog pointed his owner in the right direction and he listened. ♥️
This video spoke volumes. It shows how we should not be biased against homeless, how self-aware, compassionate and socially aware the owner is, and truly just how much dogs are spirits off hope, light and love! ❤
We are all hours away from this situation. Be humble and kind to everyone.
yes, this is what The Lord Jesus Christ commanded us.
Such a beautiful act of love from the special loving heart of both the dog and owner, dogs know good people when they see them, I hope this man sees the kindness of this man and shows him that he can be a part of society again. Sometimes people just need a little understanding and compassion🙏🏽❤️

Thank you for trusting in this man and helping him get on his feet. It takes alot to get the homeless off the street. It takes a village! And you put that village together & took extra steps to get him where he needed to be! Bless you, your dog, the village, and all the homeless! ❤❤❤
It is BEAUTIFUL to have someone something somewhat somewhere somehow. I bless you all xxoo ❤

True. God says in The Holy Bible that He knows people's hearts , He looks at our hearts, not our appearances.
such an underrated comment
On two different occasions while going for a walk I smiled at two dogs and continued walking.
The dogs followed me and the owner of these two dogs said that they wanted to meet me.
They both looked up at me with friendly eyes and jumped on me excited. I really did enjoy meeting them. I think the love was mutual. 😃❤️

I can only give them whatever spare food is in my bag, but it's the small things, they have all been so grateful and I do wish I could do more but I'm broke and living on medicals.
