Hey, I'm your neighbor over here in Nova Scotia. I have a 2011 Arctic Cat 450H1 and was wondering if you could recommend where I might be able to find some bushings for the secondary? Arctic Cat doesn't sell the bushings so I need to source a aftermarket one or two. I like your idea of your double bushing for a snugger fit, ill probably do the same if I can track some down. Thanks for the tips.
I just snapped my secondary bolt trying to do this for the first time lol what are the chance i get the broken piece out of the jack shaft and find another bolt on the interwebs?? Im new to snowmobiles and tinkering
@TheDroneKing well let's hope you have a little bit of shaft to grab ...of not get a set of easy outs cut flush ...drill a tiny start hole then get the easy out in there hope she grabs .
Hey buddy well I'd start with the secondary..usually the secondary is what controls most of the tops end ...take secondary off pop 3 bolts off inspect rollers ...spring ..Helix...and the 2 brass bushing on the sheaves ......from there it could be a roller problem.om the primary or same deal hope it's secondary little easier
Hey man I have a 2016 m8000 and on my secondary, the sheave closest to the panel has a dent in it. I'm wondering if I should replace it or if it might be fine for the season. It's not a huge dent but would still like your feed back on it.
I miss the old clutches easy to work on and quick to tune
100%
Thanks for the information my belt is sitting low in the secondary going to pull some washers
Thanks for the video. Can you please make more about videos about Cats? Thanks in advance.
Great overview thanks
Nice video....but what size is the main bolt that holds the secondary clutch on???????
The main bolt for that secondary is what size. Somehow mine fell out on my 1993 700 wildcat.

Dent would only really cause a vibration mayb a slight off balance ..myself I'd loon for another but send haha
@@jessejames4976 I was leaning towards that myself 🤘🤘
Did you say the 3 holes on 1 side, line them up with the other 3 holes on the other side of the clutch?
Yessir usually there's 3 -4 black indends..."wholes ...for counter weight both sheaves have them make sure they line up on either side ready to rock
Get er done bud 👍🏻
