    Dear Nuno,
    Good to see your review sir- I would see you build the ASR version.
    You'd make a good job of any of them, but that would be my choice...
    Regards,
    Z

    RAF Sea Kings for Search and Rescue (SAR) were yellow all over

    • @plasticalchemist
      @plasticalchemist  ปีที่แล้ว

      Indeed they where. Although the third scheme was SAR as well if not wrong

    • @jjsmallpiece9234
      @jjsmallpiece9234 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@plasticalchemist Yes - grey & red was the colour of Royal Navy aircraft, as shown in the instructions. Don't know why the RAF used yellow or vice versa why the RN didn't use yellow. Sea Kings are now out of service with UK Forces. Indeed the RAF/RN are no longer responsible for operating UK search and rescue services.

    • @plasticalchemist
      @plasticalchemist  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jjsmallpiece9234 yes, they are out of service, although we had the honor to see the working ones in civilian hands. That will be in a future video .

    Might beat the Hasegawa one.
    I've yet had got Airfix in memory as a manufacturer with clumpsily molded scale model kits and a few, lousily fitting parts.

    • @plasticalchemist
      @plasticalchemist  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those times are now long gone, airfix is doing their homework and improving their tooling and design for their kits, I can assure you that this one is well worth it.
