Hi. my laptop dose not give me the generated code to put in after i put in my info. so I can't submit to get my key. I AM using windows 11. That are were the code should be is blank. so what should i do? I can't go to the next step if i cant register. thanks

I had the same problem, but did not want to wait. I think I did things out of order. However I deleted Forscan off my computer and re- downloaded it and followed the video and got a registration key without enrolling in the forum and waiting to be approved.

I made it to hooking up to my truck. When I hit connect to vehicle. it checks bluetooth, wifi, com3. Then it says no adapter found. I have the adapter set on HS, key on, not running, I tried 3 ports on my computer. Any Ideas? Thanks

I'm just reading all the options I can change before plugging in the ELM327. I have a 2015 F-150 Lariat. Today I realized my turn signals, when bumped, either blinked three times or they blinked 5 times. Is it possible that they blink three times at slow speeds and 5 times at higher speeds? I am about to order my ODBII module and start forscaning, however, I have a quick question. This might be super simple once I actually do get started, but I was wondering if you could go over how to save the original code and then also how to load it back on the trucks computer in case I have to bring my tuck in to the dealership for warranty work. Since as I am sure you know this does void our warranty.
This in fact does not void the warranty. All you are doing is changing settings within certain modules. I have never saved the stock file. When I did it, I had no idea I needed to for lack of conversation out there at the time. I have had mine in numerous times for warranty work and they know I changed my settings. Never said a word to me.
I've done the all the exact steps to obtain the extended license(as it said I had to have to complete the configuration of the seat change to Sync 3) and I can not get the application to acknowledge the license download. It takes me through all the steps as you listed here but when I click to restart the app it still shows standard license... any suggestions??

I have downloaded FORScan to my computer, signed up for the forum and got my code but I can't get it to work on my computer. Every time i click the link on my desktop it will run like it trying to load but then nothing happens. I go onto the and I can't get it to go where I need to go so I can do FORScan. Is my computer missing something that I need to run it? I just got the computer a few months ago and the software is up to date. Do you have any suggestions of what I can do? Also, once I get it to work will it recognize my EZ link because it isn't right now. Thank you.
Got the download and license done ✅ thank you. How do you make sure you find the correct F150 info regarding engine? It did specially ask for that information.

I’m trying this a few months after the air date, when I go to retrieve my license key the website takes me to log in instead of create extended license page. Am I doing something wrong or has the website changed protocol and have to be a member first?

It looks like they changed it and you have to sign in to be able to get the license now. You will have to wait until an administrator approves your account

You have to have an account to log in and get your free license. As soon as an administrator approves you then you can log in!

The drivers are not installed for the adapter. You need to contact the seller for them

I have never messed with the my key feature. I know a lot of people get nowhere with it

The three times is for not trailering. When a trailer is connected it blinks 5 times because it knows you will make slower lane changes

You need to go to the software and activate it. Then it will open a search window to find your download

That info is just for the profile on the website. When forscan links to your ECU it reads your vin and knows all of it.

If you are trying to load the key that was generated then it should default to save in your download folder if that is the step that is incomplete
@@AutoDad Turns out it was because i was using Google chrome when I did the download. Switched to Explorer and problem solved.

Do you actually need the Extended License? It seems you can do most everything without it.
You need the free extended license or the program will not work
I have to wait for them to approve my account before I can use the 2-month license. Hopefully they approve it soon!

It appears that this has changed and you are not the 1st one to state this. It is now requiring a log in first prior to getting the license
