Okay, after you download it and save it, open the folder it's saved in. Usually it's in your download folder. Launch Forscan, click on the bottom tab on the left(About). Click on load license key and find your folder you have open to select your .key file. Hope that helps!

I have a ford tourneo 1.8 TDDi of 75hp year 2006, I have changed the vp44 pump for a scrapper, and it does not start, it turns the engine, but it does not start. I've been looking at forscan but I don't have much idea how to use it, is it possible to adapt the vp44 scrap pump to the ford tourneo with the forscan? I have an ELM327 ford adapter, and it works with the forscan, but I don't know what function to use in forscan to adapt the pump, if it is possible. Greetings, any advice is welcome.

I'm pretty sure it's just needed to verify your extended license is valid, after that you should be good to go. If I get a chance, I'll try to verify it for you.

I went to my saved downloads and its only showing me the notepad files with the for scan extended license. how would I be able to manually load the file because it won't let me copy and paste into the forscan where it says enter activation code. thank you
@@cocoaguilar3622 I had the same problem as well. What I did was save the download in notepad then add the file into a folder. After, go onto FORScan and search for that file that you previously saved. Hope that helps!

So I emailed them and they replied within 1 hour with approval. Also to note in your video I was not able to just click the file and accept changes as the file would flash and disappear. I have load the file in the Load Licence key box manually and my licence worked
I guess they have changed how you get the license since you did this video. I'm on the forum and I don't have that "generate extended license" field under Board Index. They email a link in about two hours to download the key. but then it's not as simple as I see you doing it. I have to click a link in the email to download the license. When I reopen forscan it's not automatically showing there is a license registered. I have to click on load license key and it doesn't take me to or show me the key. I'm lost.

When you click on download, the key doesn't seem to show up anywhere but when you open forscan and click the install key, and the windows file viewer pops up, you just have to dig in the C drive to find the download. click on it to make it the file name and click open. Now it has been loaded into forscan.
Ridiculous, need confirmation by an administrator. That's not working with my time table. Nobody mentioned that I can only do stuff with some administrator high level executive's approval.

I see at about 3:00 you have 2 licenses, is that 2 different PCs or can you re-do the extended trial license??
You can renew the extended license. They have yet to put a limit on how many times you can renew.
Do you need an internet connection after you've done all of this to use the program when you're at the vehicle?
