      It's unclear how you came to the price of $100 for a lifetime license. Also, it's unclear how you're going to build the product.
      Did you find a developer and design & code the product? Are you using an API? Follow up video would be awesome.

      Decision is a big one. I've spent the last 17 years in a dead end, albeit secure job constantly thinking and evaluating business ideas (analysis paralysis) for when I go out on my own. It's a huge time hog. I finally took action last fall with a business idea, made many calls and emails, but realized there was no viable market. Now I am trying a different approach, going directly to industries I like and have upwards growth and asking for their pain points, then building a business based on that. Tony Fadell's book called Build had a good quote . Build a pain killer, not a vitamin.

    • @smbizbosses
      @smbizbosses 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      OR, you try it! And if it doesn't work in shit creek, go to the neighboring area and try it there... because it CAN work... but not by giving up before you even begin.
      Start with the "important" people in town, convince them, and they give referrals to the next level of "important" people in town... Its a tried and true way to sell, first used by traveling sales people... and it works

    Hi Noah,
    I purchased your book and while I agree with most of the points you have in the book and felt it is very helpful in understanding how to start, this video is not the greatest example. Most people wanting to start don't already have a great sphere and colleagues with disposable income to help fund you. What might take you 48 hours might take someone in the projects 48 weeks. A proper video would be you turning a rando you've never met before into a millionaire.

    • @itscooldawgdonteventrip
      @itscooldawgdonteventrip 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it's better to pretends the product exist and to test if people actually want it than to go and build it and nobody want's it. ONLY if you can really do it super fast with no-code in a weekend you should do that. Or you have a solid way to test it. People vote with their money. The only caveat I see if that those people are his friends and might not want to say no too easy and have money so 100 is not so big.
      But the lifetime access deal for the beta to raise some money is a very solid good tactic in my opinion but you must be ready to deliver if you change idea just hit the reverse transfert button on your bank account app. And change idea. It's a good methodology. Nothing wrong about that IMHO. I am saying that and I am an engineer. ( IT computer scientist )

    Got the book, bro. Very relatable story and super motivated. My mom worked night shifts, too, as a nurse. 😅

    Great video dude. The hate your getting it crazy. People want even ask their circle but will bash a creator on TH-cam. It’s crazy hopefully everyone at least gives it a try.

    I am not from the US but from a way poorer, less developed country and I AM SHOCKED to see those scumbags clatching to one fricking dollar and even middlefingering you instead. Pain...

    I usually increase my price for people wanting discounts, usually price them 50% more in order to be just for people without discounts, In this way people will have their discounts and they'll pay the same or more as people without. Don't you think this is ideal solution for equality and discounts. We could also add some additional fees for people wanting discounts. Like adding a fee for discount. You give a discount and add a fee and total sum reamins the same as before.

    @noahkagan Docusign replacement is a great idea, and also can't wait for the Loom replacement you mentioned on the pod, if the quality is as good! But I was sad to hear that you weren't planning to do it immediately, I think there'd be a huge market for it!

    This isn't a way to validate if the business is worth $1m. He could start another business and sell it to the same people and they would buy it since they're friends. Boom another $1m business! He should've reached out to local businesses and see if they would buy it.

    It's good that you said that you should get paid for ideas. When I just started out I worked for free until a wise man said that I had to ask at least some money for it. He said it would give me the feeling that I had value and that would improve my work and sales. It was 100% true.

    You’re not making money from anything. You’re just talking and selling promises you can’t deliver. I’d be impressed if you actually did something for a month and paid your bills with it. That’s what people want to see. This is all just hype.
