The turn 3 banking they said it's around 19 degrees while the last turn are 18 degrees. Indeed, they're not lying when they said this is going to be 2x times much steeper than Indianapolis. Not As steep like Taladega, Daytona or even the Monza, but At least it's a good banking.

Btw, what was so good about the v10s? I get that everyone loves the noise, but a big part of F1 is tech based, and hybrid/electric is clearly the future. I'm confused why any fan of F1 would hate change, because that is what F1 is...
Marek all of the ‘fans’ who say they miss V10s say it because of the sound. sure they sounded great but as you said f1 is about innovation, about moving forward. they perfected the v10 engine and it’s not as efficient as f1’s current engines so it makes no sense to keep it.

I can't tell if the renovations increased the banking there, but some banking definitely was already in place. It is a solid spot for overtaking under braking since there is room to go 2 wide.

Oh you don't need to worry about that, They allready confirming that the Safer Barriers are going to be installed before race held. Of course, they're hiring a US Company that has experience in Designing and installing Safer Barrier in most of Oval Tracks in US.

Yes i did. Its of camber and you cant see the apex. Once you are over the hill in a regular car your too late to recover. Its an blind, off camber corner with gravel on the outside. I used to always sit there because of the crashes :)
That’s not what your going to get here unfortunately, it’s hard to tell with this particular camera angle but the whole track apart from the final banking and start/finish straight is really narrow, not big enough for 2 F1 cars side by side. Also everything between the start/finish straight and the last turn is super twisty so it’s going to be very difficult to stay close to the car in front, whoever’s on pole will probably win. However I think this track might get a better with the new 2021 cars though because they can follow much better in the twisty bit which means over takes down the straight will be more common.

I think the weather will be a huge issue at this track. Right in the coast will bring cross winds in, and high humidity. And the chance of a wet race is high. And tbh - all this chat about banking and it's just 1 corner. But disappointed.
People prefer wet races these days, so not sure why it would constitute a "huge issue", it's the teams' job to adapt(they show up to every race with a different aero package already) Also the banking is something that has been absent from F1 for many years, so of cause it's going to be a talking point; No need to act all sanctimonious about something you know is going to be the case.

You'd be surprised where you can overtake, it takes some balls but there are quite a few really good spots. Shame about the chicane on the Ron Slotemakerbocht section, F1 cars would have looked fantastic flying over the top of the climb and diving onto the breaks for Scheivlak.

Havent put them in yet, the track is finished but there is still a lot of work to do

That circuit is a LONG way from being FIA Grade 2, never mind Grade 1 which it would need to be F1 allowable. Its a mess.

The look of F1 Circuit Zandvoort Netherlands does not look as spectacular and intriguing as F1 Circuit Hanoi Vietnam.
