Hi, greetings from Zandvoort, Holland! No I don’t think they will be adding a chicane overthere. I think it is some kind of way to shorter the track for some other races. Anyway, hope you will subscribe, I am planning to upload several update video’s.
Wow.. as a fellow amateur drone pilot, this must have been a real buzz to fly...good work....i really hope that last corner is banked in the finished track.

Two corners are going to be banked - the 180 after Gerlachbocht as well as the Arie Luyendijk Bocht (Final corner), the latte of which will have a banking of 32% (18°) - steeper than most Indy/Nascar tracks.
This track is amazing! My mouth was dropped the whole time. There will probably never be an f1 race at laguna seca but I hope some track designer replicates it some where an f1 car could race.

2nd corner will have a significant banking, two cars will be able to go through there side by side no problem. The last corner will have more banking and will be significantly steeper than for example the Indianapolis motor speedway, also the DRS zone will start in that corner since they will be able to take it flat out.
Thanks for this. Its nice to be able to see the changes in elevation on track.I dont think F1,cover that enough. Looks like a track capable of challenging cars and drivers.
It looks like a fast, low downforce track. Gorgeous. This is probably a stupid question, but are all F1 tracks, street circuits not withstanding, of uniform width? I'd love to see a wider track in some parts of the circuit.
I've visited Zandvoort and I also drove a few laps on the simulator. The track actually felt quite tight and not particularly fast, so I'm not really sure about the low downforce. Anyway, it is an amazing track and an original circuit like Zandvoort can give us really exciting races
I was a bit worried for Zandvoort, but it has kept its character. Well done to all those concerned, I hope the final corner has a good bit of camber going to off camber towards the end, that will throw a curved ball into the mix and definitely keep the gravel traps. NO MORE RUN OFF AREAS! Screw the corner up, sit in the crowd and watch how it should be done.
A decent redesign of a classic circuit, Tarzan still there which is nice to see. A nice combination of bends with the exception of the very ‘manufactured’ Audi S, stop go bend, and the huge runoff( or punt off, as I call them ) areas, so that cars can be run off the road without endangering anyone. Formula 1 drivers need to learn to drive to the limits(as per Monaco), rather than, beyond, in the knowledge there is plenty of run off if they exceed their abilities. But overall, really happy to see Zandvoort back, with a lot of good bends and straights. As well as viewing areas! They must be trying to attract live fans back to the circuits!
Well the setting is certainly picturesque (even with the construction work still ongoing). Unfortunately it looks like the majority of the track is about 1 car width too narrow, to encourage much overtaking. Only the start/finish straight and curved back straight look viable (and wide enough). The other 2 straight parts of the track look too short to complete a pass. So, first impressions are that its not going to make a great spectacle for F1 races. At least not until the 2021 regs come into effect. Would be very happy to be proven wrong though. The sponsor-named corners made me chuckle. Actually, since tobacco advertising has been outlawed in F1 for a while, won't they have to rename the Marlboro corner?
The pit lane exits into the braking zone for Turn 1 or am I confused by the excess sand everywhere? Also banked turns? should provide enough debris for Safety Car episodes....
Looks to me like they've kept the essence of the old track and are resurfacing it with some added infrastructure and safety features. It makes you wonder what would be possible in bringing back some of the other classic F1 tracks. As we all know though, it comes down to someone having deep pockets and in some cases the requisition of land or navigating local legislation. Over time they've done it with tracks like; Fuji, Paul Riccard, Mexico, Austria and Kyalami, but it would be great to see tracks like Rouen-Les-Essarts, Montjuïc, Jarama, Mont-Tremblant or Brands Hatch come back. I know I'm being nostalgic and neglecting how political these decisions can be, but it's nice to dream.
Rouen les Essarts has been closed for such a long time and would need way to much work to transform into a modern circuit. Especially since almost all of the track is made of standard roads closed off for the events.
Cant have steep drops at the sides of the track like in some parts that would need to be fixed incase a car goes airborne and flys over the fence off the side of the track
Turns 4, 5, 6 and 7 should be a great spot to watch -- something of a cross between Eau Rouge at Spa and the S's at Suzuka. What's the total length of the track, it looks kind of long?
SO EXCITED!!!😍😍😍😍😍*
Especially the stunt jump between start finish and the first corner's gonna be epic ;)

I will try to film updates regularly, so please subscribe 😉
2nd corner will have a significant banking, two cars will be able to go through there side by side no problem. The last corner will have more banking and will be significantly steeper than for example the Indianapolis motor speedway, also the DRS zone will start in that corner since they will be able to take it flat out.
Looks awesome! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Supertof gedaan!
Thanks for this. Its nice to be able to see the changes in elevation on track.I dont think F1,cover that enough. Looks like a track capable of challenging cars and drivers.
Looks like it’s going to be an awesome track. Lots of widening going on too. .the banked corner will b ease some .cant wait.👍👍
Track looks epic and fast. Hopefully the tyres don't explode around the banking. I like the hospitality areas on the start straight and last corner.
Got to drive on it before the construction started, definitely want to try out the new track one day
thanks 4 the upload, nice!
Atemberaubende Strecke 🏁
Thanks for sharing 💪😊
Mooi man zo'n kombocht.
which corner are they going to rename as the "max verstappen corner" ?
will it be ready on time? lots of work to be done! looks fantastic though.
Totaal nieuwe baan.
Its gonna be an amazing GP with verstappen! Cant wait
It sure will be! 😀
Stay tuned and subscribe for future videos 😉
Not this season I don’t think but next it may be ok
Kippenvel!
@@JorgdeBruijn1975 jij bedankt man! 😊 gr Peter
i wanna see so bad Romain getting launched to the space off that last turn
🥬 🚀 🛸 👽
If he makes it to the last turn....LOL
Prachtige weergave. Thx.
the lay out similar to Shanghai circuit, in a long smooth high speed curve, looks like Spa, don't know where this new circuit located at.
It's in the same spot.
It is not a new circuit. It's actually very old
The pit lane exits into the braking zone for Turn 1 or am I confused by the excess sand everywhere? Also banked turns? should provide enough debris for Safety Car episodes....
No, the pit exit will be after the Tarzanbocht
Current Lap Record 14:24 (williams)
I'd love to see Fuji again, but not at the cost of Suzuka, I'd gladly switch China for it...
Rouen les Essarts has been closed for such a long time and would need way to much work to transform into a modern circuit. Especially since almost all of the track is made of standard roads closed off for the events.
@@thibaudduhamel2581 I know, your absolutely right, but like I said, "it's nice to dream".
Cant have steep drops at the sides of the track like in some parts that would need to be fixed incase a car goes airborne and flys over the fence off the side of the track
Rachid Khamlichi F1 cars go round spa which is in the damn Ardennes, they’ll b fine here
There is no drops on the side of the track tho
Rachid Khamlichi apart from the top of raddion, the right hand hairpin after Le combes, and the 1,000s of trees literally surrounding the track
Look closer there is a big gap
Turns 4, 5, 6 and 7 should be a great spot to watch -- something of a cross between Eau Rouge at Spa and the S's at Suzuka. What's the total length of the track, it looks kind of long?
4.3 km or 2.67 miles
nice video... last corner will be sick
SO EXCITED!!!😍😍😍😍😍*
Is it me or some areas are Fuji Speedway looking
I wish TH-cam added a 4x speed. :)
Next time I will upload it in 4 times speed 😉
This is gonna be another SPA, i like those angled corners!
Will they manage to finish it ? :o
Sure the netherlands can build a new bridge for a highway in 1 night why they cant do this then ? th-cam.com/video/860MWSi7L0U/w-d-xo.html
Is the lap filmed backwards? Pit Exit the middle of the first corner bank, Pit entry half way down main straight?
Nope, its the right way
Best coverage of the track yet...... still hard to see what the last corner will look like, is that going to be big banking turn ????
George Thomas correct
Fitting in all the massive F1 trucks and hospitality units into that very small paddock should be interesting...
That is what I am also curious about.
I will try to film updates regularly, please subscribe if you have not done it yet 🙂
Wow! How many tens of millions will this thing end up by costing??
Gonna be epic 2020!
Vai ficar muito bom! Imagine fazer a curva Aldi!!
