Yep, we have a number of 2L cars making 450nm+ absolutely fine. If they’re doing a lot of track work we need to look at transmission coolers and valve body upgrades. They’re absolutely fine on the road and casual trackdays though!
If it's a daily driver that only sees road use the standard pads are ok... I would recommend the Endless MX72 as a minimum pad upgrade. Otherwise we can go upto our AP Racing brake kit like this car is getting: racefixparts.com/products/ap-racing-street-track-brake-kit-cp9200-4-piston-330mm
How would a 2.0L 86 with a G30-660 on 98 compare to this? The E85 PVS car seemed to do around 30+ KW more and a shit tonne of torque more compared to most of the other 2.0L on E85 but what about 98?
As in oil pressure on startup to the turbo or oil pressure to the engine in general? Out torbo kits come with a larger capacity, baffled sump which adds about 1L/1 Quart of oil to the system great reducing the risk of oil not returning to the sump.
Yesssss finally a modded auto gr86
Will you show its test drive
Gen 2 is a beast! Keeping gen 1 though I’m getting old 😂. These are legitimate Porsche alternatives now. Gen 3 in 10 years will be even better!
Need a driving video🙏🙏
Impressive stuff
Does the transmission need an upgrade if this goes on e85 and makes huge numbers?
If used purely on the road, standard will likely be fine. For track use they need a transmission cooler and torque converter upgrade.
Would the automatic transmission be able to handle a 2x increase in torque 🤔

2L on 98 @ 10psi would be ~ 200kw 350Nm
Did you do anything for oil pressure for the turbo
As in oil pressure on startup to the turbo or oil pressure to the engine in general? Out torbo kits come with a larger capacity, baffled sump which adds about 1L/1 Quart of oil to the system great reducing the risk of oil not returning to the sump.
What brake upgrades are required for engineering is NSW?
None! This car was fitted with the AP Racing brake kit but it’s not necessary for engineering.
@@racefix oh awesome thanks, that slims down the budget haha.
