Scariest part about watching this is that there is a chance we could have possibly seen some of these gang members on TV in the donate to Haiti commercials back yearrsss ago. While I was living a completely different life, the same kids we saw way back years ago, are most of those kids still living here today have become a product of their enviroment in as there's not much of a choice to do so in order to survive and make a living for themselves. They were all subconsciously getting conditioned into becoming savages. And now we're able to see it through the point of view of a brave man who seems like hes ready to die for our knowledge and to bring awareness to certain places of the world no one will ever understand unless they actually live(d) through it. The opposite of being blessed…is not being blessed. So be mindful when you say you’re “blessed” you’re also implying someone else is not being “blessed”. And what god would “bless” a whole country of people with clean water and food and then doesn’t “bless” another country of innocent people?!!

This docuseries really shows the corruption and the injustice that is happening to the people in Haiti versus as hearing it on the radio and not having a visual to connected too….. It is so heartbreaking and so unfortunate that you could not visit the better part of the country. Thank you for really showing the raw in the real day-to-day of the majority Haitian population… and if there are ways to donate to Sean let us know…. One question I have is about the Clinton Foundation and their ‘work’ in Haiti. Our news in the US is corrupt. Worse than your government if you can believe that!
They tried to hide an obsuate the fact that they got millions in donations, and left you a bunch of shotty trailers, and some other rumors involve them taking orphans out of the country illegally.
Is this discussed much in Haiti? Are the people aware of this?

After 63 years on this planet, I just don't understand how some people own multiple homes, cars, eat $500 dinners and others have to scrounge and work all day to be able to afford a $3 meal. Our disposition in life is so influenced by the circumstances surrounding where we are born. Nick thanks for risking your life to show us Haita, and Sean for helping to keep you safe.

there may be some outside circumstances that led to this, but ultimately this is a mess that they themselves have created.

I don't like to speak for others but if I had to guess, he means that the colonizers had a game plan to make Haiti work despite how fked up they where, but when they left all that was left was a bunch of former slaves who rightly earned there freedom but had no idea how to make a proper civilization work, if they had won a revolution and instead kept the framework then at the very least they would have had a functioning society that could have worked and they could have slowly inherited and phased out the colonial mentality as other former colonies did....education was the deciding factor and they unknowingly threw it away because of how bad they wanted to make that country thiers alone....don't blame em but it's the sad truth it seems

I was there for three days in 2017. Port-au-Prince was complete disaster, however I did manage to sleep in the bushes outside the airport safely and walk around the airport side of town. I tried walking north east and hitching rides, managed to get 2-3 on mini buses then an English speaking local that I talked to and passed picked me up and said stay at his as it was getting late evening. We went to some shanty backstreets and got some food. I went back out at night and had some beers and the guy I was with was introducing me to everyone. It got quite overwhelming. The next day he talked to a bus driver and I managed to get a free ride to cap-haitien via the same route you went. I then took some photos of people jumping into the polluted river from the bridge. After that I went straight to border by minibus to get out of there as it felt dodgy AF. The border closed at 9pm and I had to wait until the next day to get out, loads of locals crossing border and climbing over closed gates. That was all before the kidnappings started...very dicey place indeed!!!
