At first I thought you wanted to cut the body to make it fit to the chassis, didn't expect the opposite 😂 I still have my SCX10.1, the OG, and love it ! Waiting for the next chapter !
Great start to this build! Looking forward to seeing the build, should be a fun and challenging project! And I think the idea of a build series is awesome - hopefully we'll see more of these!
Probably hard to find, but an SCX10ii 6x6 chassis seems like it would be ideal. Looking forward to seeing you finish this one. I know a guy who stretched a Fordyce to fit a CEN body. It turned out really cool.
Interesting! I thought at first glance you were gonna do a clone of your raptor. A pre runner is pretty cool …should be fun to rip around the sand out at sand hollow.
@@westdesertwheeler I got all my build ideas from Double clutch productions- Videos. He has really good advice. A must watch before build. And you can tell the truck performs just watching. ( He did the research.)
Just too give you a heads up that rc4wd CChand work bed is designed around tiny tires there is no way it can work with those tires I understand you said your possibly looking at it there pricey... but in the end it's your build do what you see fit have fun...
I have a SCX10-ii that I was going to do the same thing with! My roadblock is that I have an axle mounted steering servo and I’m not sure how this kit will work with that. What do you think?
Gladiator is a 10.3 if I'm not mistaken. And from what I hear the i beam kit needs a 10.2 chassis but don't know the difference between the 2 chassis. Is there a big difference?
The Scx 10.2 is a legend 💯🛻 excited to see how it turns out
Honcho back fits the cab perfectly
First the proline F250 or the cenf250?
I will never get tired of SCX10II build videos. It's my favorite platform. I am excited to follow along!
I like the truck bed,,it,s going to sweet!! hook it up logan !!!
I also bought a beams kit when they were super cheap. I'm going boring and doing a Ranger. Stoked to follow along with this build.
I had to Google chase truck didn't know what it was till now, gonna be awesome. I definitely want to see this🏁🤸♂️👍
Nice Project. Something different but fun.
Love SkyRC! Bought my first crawler there. Got the TRX4 sport, and now I just finished my C3 4WS rig. 😅 you the man, Cody!
Can’t wait to see how you stretch the frame
Wow what a good build idea, I enjoy your vids and take inspiration from them. I think I’m going to start on my pre runner build soon.
Find a scx10 6x6 extension kit. It be easier that cutting the rails
I don’t know that finding that part would be easier lol
AWESOME 👍
Great idea, I'll be watchin this build 🤘y'all have a badass day🤘🍻🤘

Yes there are….I’ve been looking. Even checked out conversations kits
Interesting build indeed.
right before he showed the beams i was like please be beams please be beams!!!!

My buddy built one for the sand and said it was awful lol it rolled and got stuck constantly
Fun project I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
Yep !! Love it ..... Great Idea Logan man :)))))) Looking Forward to your next video on this build ....Gooooooood Sht !!
I hate I watched this video too soon! Now I’m going to constantly refresh TH-cam for part 2 😂
So 6x6 frame extension test and review?
I just stretched a 10.3 to fit that body. 16” wheelbase. I hope to complete all trails at AxialFest Badlands25 with it.
Did you have to modify your rails to make the wheelbase?
Yes. I welded 2 front frame sections together, and used a longer gladiator rear frame section, and rear gladiator links.
I did this, And the high gear worthless capra trans is perfect for a 2wd high speed rig.
Capra front upper and lower links, to get as far forward then some custom rear links your good lol.
I happen to have a few sitting in a box

Ding dong doing a build about time ! 😂

You will need to chassis mount it. The parts exist it shouldn’t be hard to do
Can I ask why u didn’t start with a gladiator?!?! Just a gluten for punishment huh! And you just answered my question! 😂 great project man
Gladiator is on scx10III chassis, so the I-beam kit wouldn't work

@@galloproductions6562 ive never owned a 10.2 I wouldn’t know. I know the axles have a centered diff
Will that tan body fit a Scx10 og ?
Last 10.2 chassis for sale
not much of a "build" video. i hope future videos are more in depth and less talking about what your gonna do.
Well this is the first video so yeah I kinda had to lay down the intention here.
No windows?? Ewww.
Not yet haha
