    1. Oh man Dan, you're way off with Alan Wake 2! I agree that the gameplay isn't anything to write home about, but it's radically different from the first one (which was more of an action game with story beats), and gets far away from the whole police procedural element. You're still early, though, so see what you think once you get into Alan's levels. Great recommendations on the horror games, though. The Costume Quests are way overlooked.
    2. I think Skull & Bones was so expensive because they essentially rebooted development multiple times. What a shame of a game. I tried it out when it was free in beta, and while the ship combat was fine, it's almost objectively a worse game than Assassin's Creed: Black Flag (which they cribbed S&B gameplay systems from) was over a decade ago. No swordfighting, no boarding ships, no underwater exploration, no trading...it's wild how much games have devolved due to the "service game" push.
    3. Jeffrey Wright was absolutely in The Last of Us Part II, and is playing the same role in the show. I think it was a case where the characters' role was significantly diminished during production, so hopefully they'll give him more to do in this version.

That’s crazy about Skull and Bones. To rack up that kind of bill for a mediocre is incredible.

Appreciate the "Ross take" as always, buddy! Glad to hear about Alan Wake. I'll definitely put more time into it this weekend. I just got to the part with the latenight talk show, so I am hoping it picks up from there and I will keep you posted. Part of it is my fault, I spent too much time scouring the woods for the charms!
Agreed on Skull and Bones. It was sad to watch it devolve over the years and Ubi to keep pouring more money into it. I'd be curious to know what other features and versions of the game there were before the one we eventually got. I also think this game would be interesting for future Business students to research because it is the prime example of the Sunk Cost Fallacy and man, did Ubi just keep throwing money at it.
