@TREAD the globe Please come to Adana, the original place where the kebab is located and another original traditional food of Anatolia,Kebab invented in Adana
I've never understood the misconceptions of travelling in Turkey. I grew up in the UK, then lived in the USA and have spent the last twenty years living in Turkey. I've travelled to each and every corner of this beautiful country. I've never once had any problem whatsoever. The hospitality shown in this video is not for affect, the Turkish people really are incredibly welcoming.
In the 80s and 90s I back packed Europe Parts of Asia The USA mexico and more a question I always got asked was what was your favorite country and for all these years since I ALWAYS said that Turkish people were my favorite people that I me and traveled in. I am relay happy that this has not changed. I will be back in Turkey before I die ,LOL hopefully .
Just so impressed with the Turkish people. I can't believe how friendly, hospitable, and nice they are. I've never really considered putting Turkey on my list of countries to visit, but now I'm very excited to visit one day. 😀🇺🇸
They are! As you can tell from the videos and the comments - we are loving our time here and when the world is suffering from rage and anger and fear - Here in Turkey we are feeling safe, surrounded by friendship and kindness and the hospitality is second to none - we hope you get the opportunity to visit and experience it yourself 💐🙌🇹🇷
I want to say a huge big thank you to you both... I live in Spain! suffering with the heat the same as you... mind you I'm not getting up that early... haha.... You have completely changed my perceptions of Turkey... beautiful country! Take care!
Lovely video. Highlights: puppy love, tour of the cave hotel, food and explaination of cooking methods, cat digging help, punching up tour guides, Turkish hospitality. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
Turkey is such a beautiful country we saw one of your videos right after the release of lockdown in Istanbul and were encouraged to fly to Turkey from Japan on our world Tour. We have love our month long stay in turkey but we didn't make it to Cappadocia because we heard a lot of the activities were cancelled till October or so we cancelled last minute and went to Istanbul from Izmir sooner. Looks like such a cool natural place we'll have to come back but at least this time we got to enjoy the Turkish coast which is STUNNING! Cheers from Ukraine now!
Glad you made it to Turkey and we definitely recommend Cappadocia - the balloons are only one aspect ... there is so much natural beauty and friendship not to be missed - safe travels 😍🌺💐
I really enjoyed this show - didn't want it to end I especially loved Atillas place , the eclectic look is my specialty The food looked soo tasty as usual and very kind of the family to cook for you Marianne- you just are a cat and dog magnet 😄 I will definitely be in touch with the two travel specialists You really are having such an AMAZING time !! Cant wait to see more of your adventures in Turkey- the kindness of the Turkish people is so good to see in this uncertain time Hugs Angela, Derbyshire 🐝🌈🇬🇧🤗xxxx
I love the "oh hello... you're still there?" Phrase...It's hilarious. It makes me laugh every time! 😂 Love your videos...I can't wait for the next one. 🤗
Hello! Watching from Norway. This is one of the many reasons why we should visit Cappadocia. I would like to experience to stay in those cave rooms. :) Lovely! It's in our travel bucketlist.
I have been Capadocia 4 times and as a couple we really loved there. From my last trip, i can highly recommend you a resturant which serves really delicious foods. It is the Konak kebap ve Corba Evi at Avanos. The other thing i would like recommend you to do a turkish name 'ATV turu' especially to see amazing sunset in Goreme
So very nice of you to promote the kind people and businesses you met in Nar and Goreme. We loved the Atilla's Cave hotel. Will certainly book there once this pandemic is over. Soandos Travel (Murat and Ali) are also nice folks and look forward to an opportunity to contact them as well. Another nice video. Sadly, I'm now caught up with your Turkey series...can't wait for the next one. Safe travels.
Hi Sally - we are delighted that you will - after our quarantine in the car park in Istanbul we were so happy to hear that we could move around and that most of Turkey had opened up ... with the help of a few new Turkish friends we have met along the way, we get regular updates on where the hotspots and areas to avoid - so we hope to be able to bring you many more places too !! But for me Cappadocia is one NOT to miss !!best wishes and so happy you can come along for the adventure !! Marianne xx
Your all welcome to my lovely country... Nevsehir is my grand grand grand parents city.. We are always proud of it.. This is us...this is how we live... We are the Turks

Hi guys hope you're having fun.bit of a bummer not being able to go in a balloon, I'm so jealous you sat in kappadokia having güveç Turkish stew. The pots are hand made from terracotta and give the dish the flavour.I love the Turkish breakfasts too, sucuk with egg and bread.we should be in Adıyaman area now.but bit put off by the masks and far too hot right now.
Hey guys, That puppy is so CUUTEEEE. What a gorgeous cat that is. Once I went to Pamukkale and saw a black dock in the gewy water and he kept following us Lol, I love you guys. Me and my mom are subscribed :D
Another great video! I am going to jot down the information for the tour guides. As soon as they let Americans back in Europe I will go. Loved seeing the cute puppy and kitty. That face on the doggie, I would have to take him home. I liked at the end when Chris was in the shower and said, that’s the end of the show. I think it was Really the beginning of the show, ha ha.
Sounds great! You will have the time of your life !! I have to say the temptation to keep the puppy is a tricky one .... but as it belongs to a family the kids would be upset if we took it 😂😂😂
23:35 yeah!!. it feels good my friend. but I can definitely recommend you going the "Turkish bath" which is worldwide famous. you must do that before leaving Turkey:-))
Glad you enjoyed it! But due to your natural happy nature ... you were always going to enjoy it - We love your kind and positive comments and we are grateful to have you with us on this adventure 💜🤗🚐 best wishes Marianne xx
Such a rare treat to see a hot air balloon take off! The balloons' sizes and the loudness of their propane burners are shockingly impressive close up. Chris looks very smart in a button-up! 😎👍
Hi guys, another brilliant video, brought back some memories of our cave hotel we stayed in,amazing,I have convinced a friend of mine to go next year , she has agreed ,so looking forward to going back and seeing more sights, you made me hungry eating all that lovely Turkish food, missing it so much and the breakfast is out of this world, do love an English one but like you said Marianne, the Turkish breakfast out does ours, so much on the table to eat,so many flavours and textures, all homemade as well, yummy. I also looked up Attillas cave hotel, saw some lovely photos of his place, couldn’t book there yet,so maybe later on in the year . I would have to adopt all the cats and dogs I saw, so much of an animal lover, every year we go to Turkey, my family always seem to make friends with the strays around,so adorable. Thank you again and looking forward to the next video, ohh Chris, did you enjoy your shower ,🤣.take care and stay safe.x
That is great - if you do come over and stay at Atillas ... say hi !! we loved it and we are just chilling at the campsite and enjoying some time by the pool - we are so grateful to have met so many lovely people and be able to share it - Turkey is awesome for sure
Good information, didn't know that. Anatolia is a bridge, a passage way to a lot of nations. And the benefit of it is the mixed culture which effects the language, the food, the music, all those traditions... Anything that you can think of..
Because Bulgaria was part of the Ottoman Empire for a very long time, and Turkish was the official language all over the empire and the Bulgarian and Turkish population lived together for a long time and they are neighbour's now. Another reason could be the ancient history of Bulgaria. The name "Bulgar" or "Bolgar" (which is a Turkish word) originally referred to the so-called Protobulgars, who were displaced from the Black Sea steppe in the 7th century, who immigrated to the Balkans under Kuwer and Asparuch. Here they established independent empires after the war with the consent of Byzantium. Protobulgarians were a Turkish Folk (like the Wolgabulgarians). Later Slavs settled in the Eastern Roman provinces of Moesia and Thrace as part of the Slavs' land grab in the Balkans. The Slavs ousted the protobulgarians. With time the Slavic-speaking majority gradually assimilated the Protobulgarians. Nevertheless, many words of the protobulgarian language, which was Turkish, certainly survived the assimilation.
Hello Marianne und Chris, It's good to see you again. ❤️ I watched you enthusiastically until the end. Everything is perfect. Endless thanks to Murat, Ali, Atilla his family😇. The dog loved you very much take it with you 😄 Now we are waiting for airial images with balloons 🥰 Goodbye

Politics and politicians is to be blamed.
Unfortunately fake news show Turkey as a so much different.
It must be because of "Midnight Express" film... And world media only shows underdeveloped areas...like always showing East London as London...
For the lovely comment we Thank you very much!!
