@@LakesideAutobody Hi Jerry do you have a video on how to get rid of a deep scratch on a windshield ? I could really use a tip if you have one the scratch is from the windshield wiper that didn't have the rubber piece on it and it dug pretty good into my 63' Chevy Nova windshield it's original and looks great other then the scratch just hoping you do have one or you make a video..tks ☺
@@rickilynnwolfe8357 I had the same problem one time and tried (Eastwood Glass Polishing Kit for Deep Scratches) I had a little bit of luck with it but it could not get it all. You could try it but it is a little expensive. I'll try to find something that works and make a vid - good idea. Jerry
If you are prepping for paint, it's really your choice and what works best for the primer, or situation. Anything from 220-400 has always been the most common in any shop I've worked at. Personally I use 220 on the DA or dry sand or 320 or 400 wet sand. I prefer a little heavier grit 'cause it's faster and the paper lasts longer.
I like the way you keep it simple. Glad I found your channel. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge.
You're welcome - Jerry
You do such great work thanks for all the tips
You're welcome - hope they help. If you ever have requests or suggestions feel free to tell me. Jerry

Thanks for the vid so clean that and it's ready for base coat?
You're welcome - yes, it's ready for a base coat - Jerry
How should I clean the bumper after sanding it down like that?
Sorry about the late reply - You can just blow it off with the air compressor - Good topic for a video.
What's the best grit to start sanding with.
