Do you even know what a 30K vehicle looks like? With the practicality of a pickup, efficiency of an EV, performance of a sports car it would destroy the entire auto industry as it is.
I am also a stockholder, and plan on keeping my stock. This is simply the best design I've seen from any company (including Tesla). Love the fact that they are not huge and bloated like most other vehicles built for the US market, but still have lots of room. I'd especially like to get a chance to try the Bulldog model they're building for the army. I think it would be amazing for those of us who like driving rough roads to get to camping spots.
1-23 reverse stock split does not bode well for our friends at Canoo. Todays price is $1.37 after the reverse split. That means today's price before the reverse split would be $0.06. They are out of money. Yes, I own Canoo stock, but more importantly I really would like to purchase one of these trucks. I really, really, really want one. It's going to be a gamble whether they make it or not. But I'm really rooting for them.
Having a truck with fold down sides would be great! And, Ilike the short overall length and long bed of the Canoo. Also, having solar and living in a rural area where gas is expensive, we are switching to EVs.
Yeah it's amazing how people believe anything out of their magic screen. Much like Aptera 25 years ago promising deliveries the next year, then the next year. Fast forward to 2024 and it's still not mass produced.
I see they delivered some to Wal Mart and the State of Oklahoma and Kingbee. But I couldn’t find exact numbers. Lots of articles on future purchase agreements.
I have no interest in electric car and they have my attention! It seems like a actual useful good product and at a great price? They may change people's minds . i have a hybrid suv to commute it would be great for weekend trips to big box stores and yard work . the military one looks great.
I would drive this truck to work and to the hardware store constantly. I really like the military truck! The flip down sides on the bed are extremely useful.
My question is how is it on towing? How kuch weight can it tow and for how long.. I could see using these trucks as my company fleet but we always tow trailers that have minimum 3 tones of materials in them
Electric vehicles suck at towing, another 10 years before they will have enough range to be worth buying. If, on the other hand, just for light duty, it's great.
Better batteries are needed for towing. We are seeing a 25% increase in energy density each year. A few years to go till we get the same range as a diesel vehicle.
So which truck is it? I hope they still have the original concept design we signed up for. This one looks like those tiny Mitsubishi trucks you find in South East Asian fish market.
It’s both trucks. One for the public and the other is a military version sent for testing. It’s possible they will sell the military version to the public as a special edition. They both are based on the same frame size as the van.
The vans are in production and delivery for Wal Mart and the Oklahoma government. Canoo decided to do fleet vehicles first for feedback and quality control. Once they work out any bugs; the public gets to start purchasing some.
What a wonderful vehicle. Are we going to be able to buy this truck in Canada please. If you wanted to display you vehicle to a new demographic I would love to drive truck all over Vancouve Island.
I own an EV & I hope canoo comes the market , but this video says almost nothing about car , just a very long add , stating Walmart and us military have orders in ( with no facts , is there a booking fee or are orders free , are there contracts they have signed ?) many EV start ups all say the same with many not surviving , again, I think the canoe is a good concept, but I want honesty and fax and not just a long long commercial, stating zero facts on the company without documentation to prove it
I don't need fancy features, but I won't buy an electric pickup which does no tank turn, because that is something I need. I want to turn the car on the spot on narrow forest roads on steep slopes. In the future, I don't want to go on detours any more. And the second thing is that I want to have full controll of my data. (Not like Tesla, who, according to research by the Mozilla Foundation, are the worst company ever concerning data security.) If the guys at Canoo think about that, I will be very happy to buy one, because until now, they already did a great job, and I like their approach.
DONT get excited over the LTV. The only way you will be able to drive one is if you enlist. The LTV will not be offered to the public. Good thing because you couldnt afford one. HOPEFULLY, Canoo will transfer the 4 door design into a civilian truck. !
Exclusive access to Tesla network you say, they all signed except Stellantis 150Kw is the standard level 3 charging a lot of other EV can already charge faster than that The one thing they have is the modularity
I love the canon multifunction. looking to buy one around 2028. have to see how good the Stout is. living in Texas the charging availability is still low
This would be perfect as a Snap on Snap off Drone attachments. OK, so 99 % of cars have 1 person in them.... My concept of the perfect flying car is a "snap on snap off" 1 person 3 wheel lite weight electric golf cart with separate top fitting snap on drone. When you get close to where you fly into you can un snap the cart and drive to where you want to go. You own the cart but the drone is rented. Keep the cost low and let the drone attachment recharge. You will not get the same drone back each time as they are charging up. Lots of city Drone Ports and one at your house. 99% of people could afford this....! Keep it simple...... use what we have.... Cart battery used as back up to drone! Total disrupter to old fashion expensive cars, clogged up highways and oil energy industries..... save environment at same time...??? I love the Canoo concept but please snap on a drone to it and you will have the ultimate flying/driving machine..... Way to Go.......Canoo......
Regardless of what I want and need in a truck, all EV's need to prove their worth in the cold. Will they 'rapid charge' in temperatures of -30 degrees celsius and how much actual drive time is there, at those same temperatures, considering that heat and lights are used more frequently in the dead of a Canadian winter? Then there is, of course, the fact that any number of scenarios, especially during the winter, can leave people stranded in a ditch or on the side of the road. Will this EV offer the available heating that a conventional combustion engine would, in these various scenarios? Another growing concern is the fact that battery fires are becoming more prevalent in EV's. So much so that people are not storing them in garages or next to their homes. Firefighters cannot extinguish and EV fire...so far anyway. So, it begs the question - how safe is this Canoo with regards to this issue? Other EV questions that come to mind are anecdotal, which covers any type of EV. For instance, we travel significant distances arriving at destinations without any EV charging stations. This is done in the dead of winter, with temperatures falling to -45 degrees celsius at times. You can see the obvious problem. We may be traveling to remote areas, over great distances, but at least there is electrical power available. If there were an adaptor that could utilize standard house outlets to recharge the EV, it would be far more user friendly. Barring this, I would never consider an EV...at least for distance travel, hauling cargo. I would consider an EV for use in the city, but it would have to be cheap, reliably start & charge in cold weather, an provide enough heat to withstand long 'warm-up' time frames...for basic comfort. Put a gasoline or diesel engine in this thing and I'm all in...today.
If Canoo can survive another year or two maybe this truck can turn it around. My shares are fckn bleeding and just lost more than half its worth... At this point I don't give a damn fck what Canoo CEO promises. They need to deliver. If they can't partner with Tesla chargers, Canoo is done. !!!
If they can get a 4wheel drive in for 35 they will clean up they need to aim for affordable but capable so it will appeal to younger buyers and older folks just looking for a reliable vehicle/work horse the market is lousy with stupidity expensive hot rods for rich hippies to stand out they can't go in the same direction.
Most pickups just annoy me. The Rivian is sexy, but it just doesn't match the utilitarian design that these guys are bringing. I love that they are stripping away everything that is stupid and useless and thinking about the second owner. I love that everything i build with modularization in mind. If a battery wears out you don't lose the frame of the vehicle, you just replace the battery. Sure its a little weird looking, but I don't care I want it. I am so glad that they seem to have survived. Because for a few years it didn't look like they would make it.
ICE Trucks are unsafe at highway speeds due to their high center of gravity. Driving over 35mph is taking one's life in their hands. EV's solve this problem.
I love it! But I need bigger.....Suburban sized. Plus AWD. 600hp and 500 miles are absolutely PERFECT for my needs except I live remote, off the grid, down long, rough logging roads. I only drive once every two weeks so maybe a solar array trickling charge might work? In the summer. Plus I live in Canada. By the time it gets here, that $US35K is $Can75K. So, no charger within 50 miles, no sun in winter and a HEFTY price tag......how's it ever gonna happen?😢😢😢😢
2018 Tesla neared bankruptcy, Musk tried to sell it to Apple. Ran out of money almost went out of business. GM has not a societal responsibility brain cell in their body, while Canoo''s always thinking of the buyer. Wish them well.
If they could sell these trucks for less than 30k it would kill the competition.
it would be nice to buy a new cadillac for less than 30k too.
That ain't happening either.
Then there is Toyota champ. If they sell it here or anywhere really then it’d rule them all
I can see them selling for 30k after the tax credit because its not very big.
Do you even know what a 30K vehicle looks like? With the practicality of a pickup, efficiency of an EV, performance of a sports car it would destroy the entire auto industry as it is.
Canoo has binding ordered, they need to ramp up productions then we won't see under $1 . Still having faith in Canoo
I have stock in Canoo. They have a lot to overcome. I like the premise though.
Invest in China! There ya go!
You have stock in Canoo or you are stuck in Canoo?
I am also a stockholder, and plan on keeping my stock. This is simply the best design I've seen from any company (including Tesla). @@evilroyslade3155I like Nio style and battery swapping. Chinas going through a bit a rough patch financially. Good time to buy the dip?
1-23 reverse stock split does not bode well for our friends at Canoo. Todays price is $1.37 after the reverse split. That means today's price before the reverse split would be $0.06. I really hope they can survive…would love to own one in a few years. Down to 10 cents a share today!
I have a lot on stock today, my main target is to make enough money from it, to buy myself one in the next 4 years from the same stock earnings.
If we could have them in Australia! All wheel drive will sell . Customer service will make it sell quicker than hot cakes.
Having a truck with fold down sides would be great! And, Ilike the short overall length and long bed of the Canoo. Also, having solar and living in a rural area where gas is expensive, we are switching to EVs.
Had a VW Transporter 1955. Best truck ever had. Same format.
How many Canoos have been built and delivered to customers thus far? What is the current monthly productin rate?
Hold up your left hand ✋ that many
Yeah it's amazing how people believe anything out of their magic screen. Much like Aptera 25 years ago promising deliveries the next year, then the next year. Fast forward to 2024 and it's still not mass produced.

300-400 ftlbs of torque and decent range all wheel drive dont care about HP ratings
My question is how is it on towing? How kuch weight can it tow and for how long.. I could see using these trucks as my company fleet but we always tow trailers that have minimum 3 tones of materials in them

What about the minivan/regular commuter option????
The vans are in production and delivery for Wal Mart and the Oklahoma government. Canoo decided to do fleet vehicles first for feedback and quality control.
Once they work out any bugs; the public gets to start purchasing some.
When is the truck being released
That truck is gorgeous.
What a wonderful vehicle. Are we going to be able to buy this truck in Canada please. If you wanted to display you vehicle to a new demographic I would love to drive truck all over Vancouve Island.
Is it a two seater only?
The first truck is 2 seater with a small bench in back. The military style truck “American Bulldog” holds 5.
Very versatile and practical…
I own an EV & I hope canoo comes the market , but this video says almost nothing about car , just a very long add , stating Walmart and us military have orders in ( with no facts , is there a booking fee or are orders free , are there contracts they have signed ?) many EV start ups all say the same with many not surviving , again, I think the canoe is a good concept, but I want honesty and fax and not just a long long commercial, stating zero facts on the company without documentation to prove it

How about a ramp?
A collapsible winch?
Exclusive access to Tesla network you say, they all signed except Stellantis
150Kw is the standard level 3 charging a lot of other EV can already charge faster than that
The one thing they have is the modularity
No rectangular steering wheel either. That windshield can't be cheap to repair.
I love the canon multifunction. looking to buy one around 2028. have to see how good the Stout is. living in Texas the charging availability is still low
If they are still around, stock is trading at 13 cents a share........
When will Tony and Canoo post an actual update on progress? Stock hit an all time low yesterday! Give us any shred of hope Tony!!
Canoo is done buddy. Lots of inside stories about this company being done.
Keeping my eye on this one, but may be to big for me.

M151A1 Jeep rolled. Killed a lot of G.I. soldiers. Can't roll this thing .
woooow! im shockkkk!
You can define the future all u want but if u never sell to the public, it’s worthless.

It is also offered in all wheel drive according to their website.

Hmmm. I generally buy used Hondas and Toyotas for up 26,000usd.
They need to work with my new project.
I prefer their van.😊
When? WHEN????!!!!!!!!! We heard this years ago...... W H E N will Canoo get to market.
I’ll buy one as soon as they start selling them!
ICE Trucks are unsafe at highway speeds due to their high center of gravity. Driving over 35mph is taking one's life in their hands. EV's solve this problem.
Stock is 0.16 a share. Damn near bankrupt.
It's going to the moon.
Be cool if it also float
I love it! But I need bigger.....Suburban sized. Plus AWD. 600hp and 500 miles are absolutely PERFECT for my needs except I live remote, off the grid, down long, rough logging roads. Try the byd seal before you make any comments.
Couldn't even hold 16 cents. Probably going down to 8 cents
2018 Tesla neared bankruptcy, Musk tried to sell it to Apple. Ran out of money almost went out of business. GM has not a societal responsibility brain cell in their body, while Canoo''s always thinking of the buyer. Wish them well.
It will never happen. It's dead. Sorry to tell you that.
For the love of god just sell something!
Camping best.
❤❤
Make a 4-door, awd or 4wd version, and gas powered. Love the features, and cab forward, but won’t buy electric.
I love everything about except e part of it, I still prefer gass.
That looks like sht
