Call of Container vessel of length 294.5 metres to VOC Port

Today, the M.V. MSC Roberta V, the longest container mainline vessel ever to call the Port this year, with a length of 294.5 metres, was successfully berthed.
Around 1930 TEUs of import containers and 555 TEUs of exports containers are being handled at the terminal.
Shri Suresh Babu, Dy. Chairperson, along with senior officers of the port & terminal felicitated the captain of the ship Mr.Doru Toader.
This milestone underscores VOC Port's expanding capability and critical role in container trade.
