On 16.08.2024, the port set a new record by handling 18,200 tonnes of coal in a single day at North Cargo Berth-2, using Harbour Mobile Crane, from the vessel MV Sea Gemini, surpassing the previous record of 17,785 tonnes set on 02.08.2024.
The Stevedoring Agent was M/s. BL Transport Pvt Ltd, the Ship Agent was M/s. St.James Shipping Services and the Importer was M/s. Taranjot Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd.
