Hats off to Sweetwater for doing this, I hope it becomes a regular event!
I have the older model the Blues King 12. Bought it on Black Friday from Sweetwater when they were discontinuing them for the newer Delta King models. It also includes an effects loop which the Delta King does not It's a fantastic amp. Take pedals great and great sounds on its own. Got it for $299. A price that I couldn't pass up.
Awesome that you’re using the Zoom H6 to record the amp. We were given that by our production supervisor to record audio for a local Indy film. It works great-nice inputs, features, etc. Cool-looking/sounding amp as well.
I recently bought a Supro. I'm generally a Fender fanboy, but my amp has nice clean tones, similar reverb all without the high end jangle. I think Supro is making a significant comeback, and I hope others give them a try.

These Sweetwater videos, and your podcast with Steve and Ryan, are really digging into how Sweetwater operates and it is fascinating. Great marketing for them, and informative entertainment for the masses, huge win!
I have this exact same amp in the BlackBerry cream. It is so pretty looking. Probably the nicest looking thing in my entire apartment. But as far as the sound you can make with this thing, it is rare to find an amp that is this verse at all on its own. The FET boost sounds incredible when the preamp volume is all the way down. So crunchy, but that is not the only thing you can do with the sound. I am actually going to make an album only using the sounds that you can produce with a guitar and this amp
Yes sounds great. My problem is no FX loop. I question where made as well. I am generally not a combo guy. I like a head and seperate speaker set up. The Mesa TC 50 watt head and a Mesa 2 x 12 vertical cab is my gold standard. I love it. Check it out.
I picked up the Delta King 10 as a backup amp to my Marshalls. It's a fantastic amp, and while I didn't get the same colourway, the tweed version looks great. I wasn't expecting it too look so good based on the pics, but it does. Much better than Blues Junior.
I picked up the 15 watt Tweed and Black version, and love it! Looks like a Fender...Sounds like a Marshall, yet its a Supro! Very neat and versatile small amp! 5 stars! Get one before they are gone!
Random shoutout for the old school all metal Vornado fan in the background. My grandma had a few of those, like standing in a wind tunnel when they were on. The supro is cool too. XD
I have both a Delta King 12 (in all black) and a Blues Jr. To my ears, the DK doesn't get as loud as the BJr, at least in terms of clean and clean-ish tones, and is darker-sounding than the BJr, plus the DK's reverb is on the subtle side IMHO (it doesn't get surfy/drippy like classic Fender reverb when turned up), but the DK is a smartly-designed amp overall IMHO.
I’ve been saying for about a year now how great these amps are. I have the 8, 10, and 12R (also Galaxy and Black Magick). The 12 especially is such a great pedal platform amp. I find myself playing it more than my more expensive amps (e.g. Sky King). The black/cream looks great in person as does the GC limited white one.
Sounds great and that's a cool color scheme for those who want something a little different. I love my Supro Blues King 12 which is pretty much the same amp and also has an effects loop.
I've got the predecessor little brother Blues King 10. I love it. I was considering this Delta King but I'm thinking of possibly a different flavor. Love the Supro product line.
I have the Delta King 10. Perfect size, as it fits under the desk, but I don’t use it that much. With only Bass & Treble knobs, I have a hard time dialing it in. Of course, it could be my playing. 😬 I do use the line out with master volume at zero, as a preamp to warm up my tone into the Pod Go.
I just got this amp. It's really good. I needed something smaller than my hot rod deville. And the color is the best. I've been happy dealing with Sweetwater too..
Had a Blues JR and when i tried out the Delta 10 & 12, it blows the Blues Jr out the water. Great clean, GREAT drive (based on Marshall). Seriously, go the Supro.
I bougth one b stock. Powerbutton was broken. I went to the store and took another one. Drive didnt work. So i took another one. Everything worked. But the sound was bad. Even the employe said it wassent how it should be. Proberly build on a monday the ones i tried. Looking futher now.
I had a Delta King 8 and wasn’t a fan of the boxy tone. Returned it and found a Supro 64 Super 5 watt and wow that thing screams! Found it used on reverb for $500 and it certainly holds its own against my blues jr
I got one of these from Guitar Center and it sounds great, but I needed more attenuation options more than the spring reverb so I got an Orange Rocker 15. If I had the space to play at 5 and 15 watts all the time I'd have stuck with the Supro. If you catch them on sale they're under $600.

Very nice sound the pedals I think enhance it well and for me I like dealer exclusive colors and finishes I like something that's a little different than the rest
You will not regret buying this amp. I actually got mine to use as the second amp in my stereo set up plugging into the wine in, but I find just as often I am just plugging my guitar directly into this and playing around with the knobs to get all kinds of different sounds out of it. Even the reverb is very nice, but basic
Great demo Phil! I've found these modern Supro amps are really well thought out, solidly made amps that can be excellent alternatives to a similar Fender model. I had been contemplating buying a Princeton Reverb for awhile but what held me back was that I knew I really wanted an amp with an effects loop. One day I read about The Supro Keeley 1970RK Custom 10, found one tried it out, loved it, kept it, and couldn't be happier. The PR is of course an excellent pedal platform, but in my opinion the The Supro 1970RK is a better option. Since it's a very clean pedal platform amp I also have, and love the Supro Drive pedal on my board to get me to those classic dirty Supro sounds- solidly built, and sounds great. Would love to hear if you've tried a Supro RK1970 or the RK1968, (12" speaker) and if so what your thoughts are Phil. Cheers!
Sounds beautiful, it's got an individual sound Instead of mega overdrive for boring everyone with how good you are at shredding 'look at me, look at me, look what I can do', camera pans to audience bored rigid. But hey Jimmy Page, Joe Perry and many great guitarists love what mojo these amps have. Makes a change from Marshall,Fender, Vox and distorted variations there off.
Played a black & white version at GC earlier this year with a new mim strat, I couldn't get much volume out've the Supro DK12?? Even with the boost and drive switches both engaged, it was desperately disappointing. Tone was just okay at best, BUT! No where near the db level, or the amount of air being pushed by the speaker, compared to almost ANY Fender amp out there, including most smaller ss practice amps by any other brands, I am not even joking a little bit. I honestly wanted to go find and ask a salesman if they'd pulled a power tube or something! I was perplexed beyond belief! These are class A, and I believe close backed. Looks great tho but was one of the quietest amps I've ever played in my 30+ yrs of guitar experience. Tubes or wtf ever. Hope if interested in one of these Supro Delta Kings you read this. I've experienced Supros higher-end amps will definitely rattle some balls! I had a Laney Cub12r a few years back that was priced similarly yet way better, and thang was a Blues Jr killer no lies. What was your take on db's of it Phil?
I bought one, loved the sound. I actually ended up returning it because of the lack of an effects loop. I'm not sure how important that feature really was to me, but I couldn't get over the fact it didn't have it. I'm on the fence on whether returning it was a good decision or not.

Less than Half the price of a Swart (which it looks a lot like), but I think you're getting what you pay for. Not sure how long it will last before service or an upgrade are needed. I'm curious as the how well it could be modded. 🤔

Sounds great! Supro is an underrated brand for sure. Their Tremolo and Drive pedals are my two favorite pedals.

I recently got the 1 watt version. Sounds and looks good. Great with pedals and the output line makes it a great addition.
I have the 1 watt version as well, great home amp for blues. Takes pedals well, I just generally use a reverb pedal. Love it!
If I did not already have a Mesa Boogie Fillmore, I would choose this over either of the other fender ramps. Thanks again Phil!
Supro makes great amps, my dad had one way back in 1962, and said that it was the best amp around at that time.

As far as I have read about the old vs. new, they’re the same amp. They simply renamed it and gave it a new coat of paint.

I have the 10 watt version and that amp is just magic.

Supro's are nice amps. They normally have two tones usually fairly clean and gritty. This one seems to have an edge with the boost function.

Supro amps are difficult to service and repair from what I understand, since they use some uncommon parts.
