80% utilisation of track capacity, good catch. Why are the signals to the right of shot in an unusual position of being on the right of the running track? What date was this vid.? Some of Re420s have scissor pentagraphs and the old driver trailer on the back of a train could indicate a period before 2010? unless they where special trains with old stock.

The vid was taken on the same day I uploaded it. And regarding the old driver trailer, if you're talking about the train at minute 15, that's the Jail Train they use for prisoner transports. I don't know why the signals stand on the right, but it's usually done like that on double tracks, and the two rightmost tracks head towards Zurich Airport. Leftmost is towards Seebach, the next two towards either Glattbrugg or Opfikon.

I think after research the Re 4/4s I saw with old type pantographs where Re 421s on passenger train to Germany or Austrian destination.

A few years late, but yeah the EC trains usually have the oldest lokomotive in stock to pull, with Einheitswagen and no ability to change drive direction.
Usually varations of Re4/4 get used. Some are special adaptet for this scenario with 2 different pantographs for Switzerland and Germany/Austria.
