I did some computations based on the tank capacity, fuel economy, and average gas price. There is an approx. ₱134,560 of difference between the gas spendings of the Corolla Cross GRS and the Yaris Cross for 5 years, favoring the Yaris. Meaning if you keep the Yaris Cross for 9 years, your savings would have doubled vs buying the Corolla Cross GRS

That's seriously amazing in terms of gas savings. To those who are saying you wouldn't use up the 300k in 5 years, I had the same thought. But consider this: gas prices might not go down. What if gas ends up costing 80 to 100 in just 2 or 3 years?

hi sojoocars, nice review. Suggestion please, if it is possible you can do a fuel economy review with 3-4 persons inside, this is a good scenario since most people would use this for family road trips and everyday trips. In line with this, you can be able test how the driving acceleration ( i know not impressive engine figures) going uphill and how spacious it is for the said number of passengers, this is similar what you did in hyundai stargazer review. Thank you and more power to your channel.

Thank you for the review as always you're one the best car journalist I've followed @soojoocars. I've Decided to trade my FT to Yaris cross. The Fuel consumption of the Hybrid is promising. The kicks is not for me. The design is okay. But the space is a little bit tight and the interior build quality is kind of cheap. Advantage sguro is yung power nya. Mas malakas vs the Yaris cross. But not necessarily in the city, especially at traffic.

If just doing rounds in the city, where everywhere is just within a 10kms radius, i am inclined to go with the pure ice version. The high first cost of the hev couldn't be recouped with my daily route so i may not be swayed by the hybrid tech . Remember at some point in the future 2030-34, hybrid cars will also be phased out as we move to pure bev or phev. If only this is priced at 1.1M like the entry level Nissan kicks epower, prolly very enticing but at this pricepoint, isip talaga
