Nice video. I owned a bunch of these over the years. I had a soft spot for the 70/71 Tridents but the 2 Rocket 3s I owned were better in many ways. As I recollect the 70s were basically left over unsold 69s with different tanks and exhausts. I've owned early CB750s as well and I don't recall them as being that much better than the British stuff of the same era. The elections on my 76 CB 750 were as bad or worse than anything Lucas ever made. Thanks again for the memories>

Great knowledge as ever, without any product bias. I remember very well in the late 1960s how our jaws dropped with these triples arriving, then followed by the CB750. We knew those Hondas would never be popular though - who needs 5 gears, and brakes where the pads were exposed to the elements?!

Very nice once again seeing you at Canaan Sayre. I have learned that despite your seemingly gregarious nature of these fun videos, you are very quiet and focused in the paddock. At least before five O'clock! I apologize for not coming around after hours so to speak to "shoot the breeze" more often. Or maybe that is a good thing, lol! Having said that, Karen, Cindy, and I are reaching out to ask others how we can make the Saturday "bring your favorite food" gathering, more of a "thing" at Canaan. I now people are tired and maybe even busy with repairs. But these types of activities are a real way of supporting club camaraderie. Despite rivalries, and sometimes very different opinions on everything! i.e. yours truly. Anyway ask Sam to call me. I left a message! Lol!

Gotta stay focused. Otherwise the bikes won't make it around the track next time!
