Nothing puts a smile on my face like Alan and Henry together being themselves. Love you two guys and you are the highlight of my week. Keep it up gentleman.
@@Celtictribes Translation: "I have no talent for engineering whatsoever so I'll just throw out a random insult about a genuine genius to cover my embarrassment."
Henry you are very lucky having these talented friends that keep restoring and repairing these bikes for you. I have been trying to rebuild a XS850 for 10 years. But family, life, our 1930's house, work and our governments continuous cock ups keep pushing it back. But it's always great to see the guys at work. We do lack motorcycle orientated TV in general in the UK.
That looks like a lot of fun fellas, how I envy you. I wish I were well enough to ride a bike again🤕, it is freedom (not enough of that these days). Cracking little Triumph, I still hanker after a RD250LC, but the prices for those now are ouch, too much to buy as an ornament or piece of art anyway 🙄🥴🤔😀🤭🤣 I'll live vicariously through you guys instead✌️💜😊
Somewhere in the early seventies, I bought a 1969 trident. It was in boxes ! Took me a year to put it together. In the end, best motorcycle I ever owned. Love the video, too short. Thanks, Rick….. 🇺🇸
Nice Triumph T150 ,that is the best way to clear a blockage a coat hanger if you haven't got a hanger use a 1979 Morris Marina car aerial ,which is a coat hanger, by the way when are you back on the telly Henry, need a bit more of junk and disorderly , find it fix it drive it or shed and buried ,take care mate🏍🚜🏍🚗🛻🏍😃👍
You're a Master motorbike Engineer! I Salute You! I watch all you videos! I Thank you!! I ride a 1999 HONDA ST11000 Pan European (from sunny South Africa)
Love the show especially the format, Henry puts a bit of sparkle into the whole thing. As for Mr. Millyard, in my book the man is an engineering genius.
I've encountered gummed up brake pipes several times. I just replace them, on safety grounds. Remember to change the fluid every two years and it won't happen.
You didn't have very far to ride to get your Tiffin Henry, I use that cafe quite a lot :) Great work on the bike, there's nothing that Allen can't fix, all he needs is a piece of coat hanger:)
" Motorcycling is freedom.......even at 20 MPH !" Ohhhhhhhhhh yes ! I once had a Dodge Avenger with a internally-collapsed right front brake hose. The hose behaved like a check-valve, keeping the hydraulic pressure ln the caliper, when the pedal was released. For quite a while, I couldn't figure out why the right brake-pads were wearing out prematurely. Allen Millyard is beyond genius. Trinidad & Tobago. West Indies.
To all you classic British bike fans, if you have never sampled a well sorted T150 or T160 you are missing a real treat. I was a mechanic back in the early 1980s and I worked on or rebuilt every three cylinder our dealership sold. When they are right they are fantastic and nothing like the British twins or even the Japanese multiys. They are smooth with a disincentive growl. They pull from just off idle and carry their weight low for great handling. They were a bit rushed into production and the build quality was not the best.
I had a new looking brake hose that caused the calliper to jam. I fitted a new hose and cut the old one open. The rubber lining had folded and created a non-return valve.
Hi Henry, met a guy yesterday with a Suzuki Intruder V twin 1800cc Custom - what a machine, you have to have one on your show, would love to know what you think of it. Cheers.
Mr Cole you need to do a comparison ride of the 70's Triples, the Suzuki GT-750, A Laverda Jota ( hairy beast), And if you can find one and are brave enough a KH-750, I found the Trident ( I had a T-160) the most ridable and like you i could have covered a lot of miles comfortably, Followed by the Suzuki,
Henry Cole adds the humour to all his programs due to his incompetence He's OK with a yellow duster though. The various guys he has on his series of TV productions add the skill & knowledge.
Man I love your programs, only discovered them last year and currently I have 47 on my recorder to watch! My late father loved bikes especially Velocettes . Have you ever thought of restoring a MAC or MOV?
Those brake lines corrode internally and cause them to get plugged. They can actually become a very effective check valve and lock the brakes on so do the right thing boys and change it. Very dangerous to tamper with it.
It's an in-joke between Henry and Allen (Henry's father-in-law is convinced Allen's name is Millward). If you see the guys together at any of the events they attend it's clear they get on really well. Team Henry
I think it's really nice of Allen to have Henry on his show..... just perfect 😁
Not enough Henry and Alan on TV in my opinion. 😎👍⚒
Amen
Less Henry more ALAN ….Please..
That T150 is contemporary with Allen’s Kawasaki 900. They are literally worlds apart.
Nothing puts a smile on my face like Alan and Henry together being themselves. Love you two guys and you are the highlight of my week. Keep it up gentleman.
Great Job. Nice to speak to Allen at the Revival on Sunday.
we need more longer format of these Henry!!!
Brilliant! I wish I had a tenth of Alan's mechanical skills! 👍
What skill ? Butchering bikes to make utter piles of scrap metal.

I bought a T150v new in the 70s. Biggist heap of shit I've ever bought. Traded it in for a Suzuki GT 750 after 6 months.
I bought a T140 in 1976. Still got it. Nothing but trouble. Wish I'd bought a GT750 watercooled but I probably wouldn't be here now if I had !😂

Minor repair for Al, wondering if it would turn into a 4 cylinder😁
George Pooley of the TR3OC has already done that. see various write-ups in the latest classic baike magazine.
Great entertainment guys.
At last Henry has discovered the magical ultra sonic cleaner, worth their weight in gold for sorting out gummed up carbs.

All that T150 needs now, is a pair of fishtail pipes.
