0:56-1:11 is one of the best KoRn riffs ever. Absolutely incredible that they came up with something that simple but that good still till this day. Literally will go down as one of the best KoRn riffs of all time.
This band was my only release as a wayward teen...all the anger, depression and anxiety I had was lost every time I listened to them. They saved me from a very self destructive path and I will ALWAYS be one of their biggest fans! Love u guys!
Yes they are! Hands down. I love all of their stuff, especially the older and unreleased stuff and Jonathan has some awesome stuff on his own. I LOVE them and have since the first time I heard them in the mid 90s. They are crazy good live too. This was the only newer song they did at the show I saw Feb 13th. Best night of my life(aside from wedding, birth of kids, stuff like that lol)
This whole album is amazing. Usually after 25 years your favorite bands end up making mediocre albums or they dont release very many songs if at all. Not Korn! Not only do they still got it, they have improved as musicians imho.
Its incredible, i never heared one song thats bad from korn, jonathan davis. Hes singing so good, most of his songs are very different and he doesnt shy away to try new things, one song is slow, some are fast, hard, soft, or both, some have things in it he didnt before, he has so many colabs with others, linking park, skynd, slipknot, and so on, i love his Music. Keep going :D
Thing is that Jonathan’s vocal style and cadence is so different and recognize able, it doesn’t matter if it’s a country song it still will probably sound like korn. (Yes I know I’m exaggerating)

I thought I would always feel the same, but I definitely don't listen to most of those bands anymore. Korn (mostly for Issues), Slipknot (mostly for Iowa), Deftones, SOAD, and Linkin Park (don't judge me), are the the only Nu Metal I really listen to. In Flames maybe could be counted as Nu Metal, but I wouldn't count it. Most of my metal I still listen to is older metalcore, tech death, and some of the Djent stuff. The only new metal band I really like is Ice Nine Kills, but their music is super generic. Their lyrics are extremely fun, and they definitely know that catchy fun music is their thing. I would say I am getting old, and that's why I am set in my ways, but I enjoy so much new EDM that I can't take it as that. I moreso just take it as metal is so explored, and most don't innovate. They just follow the same road. I wish they nu metal albums that have come out in the last 5 years still captured that teenage angst and energy that I had when I was younger. Most of the time if feels like they called it in just got the cash. I definitely am digging this track though, and will listen to the whole album.
