This song does such an excellent job of conveying the true hopelessness of being addicted to meth. When it’s severe, it is one of the most mentally destructive and tormenting conditions ever, and they really hit it on the nail with this song. I could genuinely feel the loss of all hope in it. It sum it up, “Abandon all hope ye who enter here.” Well done Korn. Love it.
Well I already have no hope the second I touched it recently but when I'm on my methadone was trying but I just lost my mom to a OD and now they are kicking me out of my own apartment just because she got on as a 55
Seriously. I was badly addicted to Meth man and finally got off of it. March 5th of 2023 will be 365 days clean from it. It was so difficult for me to stop and seriously this song describes it perfectly at least in my case. It can be defeated and this song gives me strength every time I hear it. Gives me chills to but I'm very focused and can't go back to the hell I was in. I'll always listen to Korn and was glad I got to grow with them since 1993 of their first album. 🤘🤘👊👊

I love all of Korn's stuff. I'm not some whiny kid who can't (or won't, in some of your cases) stop living in his troubled high school past. I can actually appreciate that they're branching out to new audiences. This most recent album is indeed a nod to their older stuff, and it shows. Just because something is a nod doesn't mean it has to be completely identical. Some of the tracks on the album do really sound like their old stuff, just with better sound quality.
Packa Smokes did you hear prey for me? sounds like something off of take a look in the mirror or alot older most of their new stuff is great i agree though it doesnt have to sound like their old stuff to be very good
Thank you. Just Thank you. I have been trying to tell the haters the same thing. But you my friend have explained it a whole lot better and hopefully they understand it. Thank you.
Dalton Rios The ones that live in the past and never appreciate Korn's effort no matter how much of their old material is imported into their new albums. Fuck em :D
I've seen people complaining about how Korn has gone 'soft', 'sold out', etc. This band's lyrics come out of how they feel and is pure emotion. And everyone is going to criticize that? I personally love the new sound. It's different, but great either way.
Remember in 2013....the hype of Brian's return and.....Never Never' single-_-'. And fez days after..this incredible song ( and incredible album!!!!!!!!!) KoRn!!!!!
When you finally hear KoRn play this song live, you'll understand how heavy it is. No computer speaker could ever project the level of intensity contained within this song.
Been listening to Korn since middle school. Follow the leader was the first album I got by them. I'm 34 years old now. Still love their music just as much. Will always be a fan.
I love KoRn .. they are one of the most creative and evolving bands we've had. Head said he's excited for the next 10 years.. I'm going to be keeping up with them and I can't wait to see what they come up with over the next 10 years .. what a journey it's been growing up with KoRn
I don't know why I haven't heard this until now. This is SUCH a catchy and underrated song from Korn. This band, even in their newer incarnations, keeps growing on me every single time I come back to them. On that note, oh my god I'm glad Head came back when he did.
Been with Korn since "Blind" and this song is one of the best songs KORN has ever done. JD's voice has gotten better and the band is tighter than ever. People just need to recognize that the band has grown up. These are people in their late 30's and early 40's. Adapt or die... Honestly as someone who is the same age I find the albums relate to my life. There is a lot of pain felt as one grows older be it loves lost or our dreams disappearing by the year. The band is speaking to these issues, not the old ones we had when we were young and angry.
"Love & Meth" [Verse 1] Feelings you see. Are so hard to believe. All the chaos I have in my heart. Devils I make and the love can relate. All the solace inside tears me up. Take me away! Set me on fire! There's no other way! [Chorus] Give me a reason 'cause I got nothing to gain. So what are we doing now? Feeling complacent, I cannot be contained. I'm so lost and lonely now. [Verse 2] We've been deceived. It's so easy for me. 'Cause the loathing I've had from the start. Evil disease all the hatred it breathes. As I'm down on my knees torn apart. Take me away! Set me on fire! There's no other way! [Chorus] Give me a reason 'cause I got nothing to gain. So what are we doing now? Feeling complacent, I cannot be contained. I'm so lost and lonely now. Where do I run!? Where do I hide!? Give me a reason to end my life! Where do I run!? Where do I hide!? Give me a reason to get out alive! [Chorus] Give me a reason 'cause I got nothing to gain. So what are we doing now? Feeling complacent, I cannot be contained. I'm so lost and lonely now. Give me a reason 'cause I got nothing to gain. So what am I doing now? (What am I doing now?) Feeling complacent I cannot be contained. I'm so lost and lonely now.
Dear Korn, My uncle died two years ago. He loved you guys, you were his favorite band. I just want you to know, you did him justice. He'd love this album.
I don't know what everyone's bitching about, I bought KoRn's new album shortly after it came out, I think it's a great album! Yeah, sure, their old stuff is better, but this is great too!
Agree, you are clearly a fan of more extreme music as am I, and I loved this album!! I think it's one of their best personally. People talk about the old stuff, but if this would have came out in the late 90's - early 2000's it would have blown people away. Better musicianship, John sings way better, and they have Ray fuckin Luzier behind the kit!
Tyler Caudill this is the korn I remember as a little kid growing up listening to I'm 19 but best believe my mom was having me listen to korn and SOAD since the wee age of 5 after the untouchables and when Head left it was shit i'm sorry but it was shit say what you want but once Head got back in there that's when they got back on point my opinion
I've been amazed with Korns new album "Paradigm Shift". It's like a heavier, fresher spin on Korns older sound from the "Issues/Untouchables/Take a Look in the Mirror" albums. I freaking love this album!
I'm 28 nd I can't believe how real this song speaks to me, please tell me I'm not the only one who sadly watched this well struggling with there own demons
I can’t even think how many times I’ve listened to this song all the way through and still 7 years later it ABSOLUTELY slaps. KoRn are one of the best to ever do it. Man this still goes hard today 🤘🏼.
One thing I've always loved from Korn, Is Jhonatan killing it with his voice and moves... God he literally dances, no matter the rythm, he mooooves and makes me wanna move too!!!
Korn is my top band, always! Seen them in 2020 before covid shut down and was the greatest birthday of my life! I love you Jonathan Davis and the whole band! Amazing band live!
I wouldn't say so. It's like the last time Korn had any passion for what they were doing dissipated the moment they finished recording Untouchables. This is my first time listening to this, and though I'm listening to it with an open mind after their Dub Shit venture, it's still like they're jus' going through the motions. Sorry, man, this isn't the Korn you remember - it really hurts to say this but the Korn we both remember has long gone.
Indeed. I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks the same. In fact this last album sounds mediocre, just like some run of the mill nu-metal band, nothing special. It just lacks the ''kornish'' essence.
Message to Ray. You are one of the best drummers I know. To be able to walk into a group after another departed and take off from when one began, hat tilted to you mate. So very talented. Love your side gigs too. Thank you Sir
Have ever listened to their old songs? Disturbing lyrics are one thing but a disturbed individual singing those lyrics is another. Jonathan was that disturbed person, he didn't even have to try all he had to do was sing and flush out all that hatred and anger. The old songs had all that hatred, these days Jonathan has lost all that angst. And I'm glad for him but that gets rid of the intensity within his songs. I hope I haven't rambled on and have shown you why people are so upset at the new Korn.
Loki Aerier He's rich and things have worked out for him so the bitterness of growing up in a shithole like Bakersfield has gone away. He still has some anger, but it will never be the same as when he first started out.
Jonathan Davis is absolutely inspiration and perseverarion man about the pain and the sickness, ever word is very strong and very deep from the black hole inside him.
Imo one of the best their music videos, I still dig Freak On A Leash and Falling Away from me videos more, but this is pretty amazing, best album since 2002
Their new drummer is awesome, and the f'ed up oldschool sound is back (and Head, of course). Korn is back. I also think this song is underrated. I know that never never's music video came out before Love and Meth, but this song should have racked up more views than never never by now. This is one of my favorite songs of the year, for sure.
+Christian Rivera I got to see Korn at their pinnacle way back in 99'. I saw them again in 02', 06', and 07'. His voice has lost a lot of power over the years, but that's to be expected. Go see them, you won't regret it. Best concerts I've been to by far. I would love to see them live now since this album came out. Love it!
SUCH an underrated track. That little electronic piano tune that drones over the heavy ass riff. Sounds so... I don't know how to put it... "Halloween-y"? So dark but melodic and fresh.
To be honest - one of the best Korn's songs ever. Perfect mix between old & new records. I'm so glad Head is back and thanks to him we have what a great record that Paradigm Shift is, and of course, absolute masterpiece and IMO, the best Korn record to this day - Serenity of Suffering.
Nobody gives a fuck what you think Mecca if you didnt know Davis wears a kilt lmfao turn that "M" upside-down and shove those 3 fingers in your ass, ya fuckin poser }:->
+Lucius Melchizedek Whoa, you must have anger issues, I am allowed to freely express my opinion of Korn's albums. I was well aware of the fact that Jonathan wears a kilt but I don't know or care for the reason why he wants to wear them. That has nothing to do with me liking their music anyway. There's no such thing as a poser, fuck off I like their music.
I was addicted to meth for a long time. Trust me when I say the visuals on this track are spot on. This is how you would illustrate the definition of meth without words. It’s almost hard for me to watch but I also can’t look away!
Yeah meth is an epidemic around the world. I got hooked on it to take away my chronic pain and stall my suicide. We all know Head was hooked hard. A lot of pain from a lot of corruption in our country. Also most everyone including myself who took amphetamines or Adderall as kids ended up doing meth. It feels very similar. Don't blame yourself just do whatever you can to keep putting one foot in front of the other friend.
I don't know what everybody's complaining about. It sounds like Korn to me! I like it and I think it's true to their original sound. If folks like their old stuff so much, just only listen to, be happy with that and move on. Great sounds from a great band. They sound better with Brian Welch back in the band. I missed him not being in the lineup. I'm also glad that the band has eliminated a lot of the substance abuse problems that almost destroyed them from being able to make music as a band. Good for them. I don't know what genre they fit into, if they ever did in the first place. Korn is just Korn!
Highly underrated Korn song in my opinion, maybe it’s the title or subject. I think it’s easily better than other top Korn songs considered their best. In fact it could be my all time favorite Korn song. The video is perfect also.
Korn used to be awesome!!! Freak on a leash... falling away from me etc. Then they played with skrillex and other dubstep derping fools... now korn is kinda getting back!! Yaay
You guys helped define a decade for me musically. Along with S.O.D., Slipknot, Static-X, among others... Good to hear you guys still killing it. Thanks for all those good times back in highschool and years to come. Funny, I was just blasting the fuck out of Follow the Leader the other day and now I hear this!
One of my favorite Korn choruses of all time. So melodic and catchy.

I got a decent job again, My family is coming around again, I'm feeling really healthy and life overall is beautiful. I can't lie and say that even after almost a year I still think about using it. It's really mentally hard to stay away from but the benefits of not doing it anymore are countless my friend. I appreciate the love bro and recovery is possible. Positive vibes and kickin ass 🤘🤘🤘
Korn just keeps getting better and better over time
+WolfEyesGreen 20 years and still going strong as hell
I agree with you, theDARKlord475!
No way these guys were much better in the 90's
FUCK NO.... come on.... they can't make ANYTHING now like those first few albums
This has to be a joke...
I agree with you dude 100%
You, sir, have your head screwed on straight. I applaud you.
Packa Smokes did you hear prey for me? sounds like something off of take a look in the mirror or alot older most of their new stuff is great i agree though it doesnt have to sound like their old stuff to be very good
Yeah, I've listened to the whole album. I love all of the songs on it.
Thank you. Just Thank you. I have been trying to tell the haters the same thing. But you my friend have explained it a whole lot better and hopefully they understand it. Thank you.
Great song from one of the best live bands!
What haters
Dalton Rios
The ones that live in the past and never appreciate Korn's effort no matter how much of their old material is imported into their new albums. Fuck em :D
that it's correct Mike👍👍🥶❄️😍
jon saved my life. and munky and head and fieldy and david and ray of course. korn is blessed
Lullaby for a sadist
fucking LOVE JDs voice in the chorus!!!
ikr its like a fuckin god singing
Sister Mortis its mastered
I really like it and no one but KoRn can change my opinion
Sl
Haha
I swear korn is the greatest of all time this is such a timeless classic and my favorite song by them 😊👏
When you finally hear KoRn play this song live, you'll understand how heavy it is. No computer speaker could ever project the level of intensity contained within this song.
True.
People have the stems, they know how heavy/intense it is, wish they'd release them.
Dude for real the energy from this song live is insane
This song is a masterpiece. Simple as that.
Fuck yeah, man. Most underrated Korn song they ever made. Absolutely amazing.
I love all of them 💓💥🔥👌
this song deserves a sequel
Hell yeah it does!
Love and coke
Been listening to Korn since middle school. Follow the leader was the first album I got by them. I'm 34 years old now. Still love their music just as much. Will always be a fan.
I love KoRn .. they are one of the most creative and evolving bands we've had. Head said he's excited for the next 10 years.. I'm going to be keeping up with them and I can't wait to see what they come up with over the next 10 years .. what a journey it's been growing up with KoRn
What a journey indeed man.
Together again:
Jonathan Davis,
Brian Welch,
Reginald Arvizu,
James Shaffer,
Ray Luzier,
Love you all guys.
Korn 4ever
no love for sexy beast
Boi Ray isn't in this
Jack Lupro yes he is....
Game Freak02 oh shit I mixed him up with the old drummer 😂
Jack Lupro ha okay 😂😂
I don't know why I haven't heard this until now. This is SUCH a catchy and underrated song from Korn. This band, even in their newer incarnations, keeps growing on me every single time I come back to them. On that note, oh my god I'm glad Head came back when he did.
Some people just hate other people's success
right their jealous
+rodolfo velazquez they're
I hate that you have 86 likes
Don't be a hater all your life
Been with Korn since "Blind" and this song is one of the best songs KORN has ever done.
"Love & Meth"
[Verse 1]
Feelings you see.
Are so hard to believe.
All the chaos I have in my heart.
Devils I make and the love can relate.
All the solace inside tears me up.
Take me away!
Set me on fire!
There's no other way!
[Chorus]
Give me a reason 'cause I got nothing to gain.
So what are we doing now?
Feeling complacent, I cannot be contained.
I'm so lost and lonely now.
[Verse 2]
We've been deceived.
It's so easy for me.
'Cause the loathing I've had from the start.
Evil disease all the hatred it breathes.
As I'm down on my knees torn apart.
Take me away!
Set me on fire!
There's no other way!
[Chorus]
Give me a reason 'cause I got nothing to gain.
So what are we doing now?
Feeling complacent, I cannot be contained.
I'm so lost and lonely now.
Where do I run!?
Where do I hide!?
Give me a reason to end my life!
Where do I run!?
Where do I hide!?
Give me a reason to get out alive!
[Chorus]
Give me a reason 'cause I got nothing to gain.
So what are we doing now?
Feeling complacent, I cannot be contained.
I'm so lost and lonely now.
Give me a reason 'cause I got nothing to gain.
So what am I doing now?
(What am I doing now?)
Feeling complacent I cannot be contained.
I'm so lost and lonely now.
This song is criminally underrated
lol no it isn't. Everyone who gives AF about KoRn knows this song, it has it's own music video. 🤣
Hate these types of comments, 20 mil views *criminally underated*... I guess every Beatles song is criminally underrated too?
Wish everyone knew it

Dear Korn,
My uncle died two years ago. He loved you guys, you were his favorite band. I just want you to know, you did him justice. He'd love this album.
That's a touching comment. I like it.
❤
I don't know what everyone's bitching about, I bought KoRn's new album shortly after it came out, I think it's a great album! Yeah, sure, their old stuff is better, but this is great too!
Agree, you are clearly a fan of more extreme music as am I, and I loved this album!! I think it's one of their best personally. People talk about the old stuff, but if this would have came out in the late 90's - early 2000's it would have blown people away. Better musicianship, John sings way better, and they have Ray fuckin Luzier behind the kit!
No their old stuff is not better its old.
Tyler Caudill sick profile pic bro beans fuckin slayer
Tyler Caudill Did you pick up the best buy exclusive world tour edition as well? It comes with a CD with unreleased tracks.
Tyler Caudill this is the korn I remember as a little kid growing up listening to I'm 19 but best believe my mom was having me listen to korn and SOAD since the wee age of 5 after the untouchables and when Head left it was shit i'm sorry but it was shit say what you want but once Head got back in there that's when they got back on point my opinion
these are godly vocals
Корн это группа на века❤
I've been amazed with Korns new album "Paradigm Shift". It's like a heavier, fresher spin on Korns older sound from the "Issues/Untouchables/Take a Look in the Mirror" albums. I freaking love this album!
I'm 28 nd I can't believe how real this song speaks to me, please tell me I'm not the only one who sadly watched this well struggling with there own demons
How are u now?
I'm struggling rn
This chorus.. one of his best..
Korn has one of the best bass for metal band shits crazy awesome
Old KoRn is back !!!
Never thought i would hear the old korn again, so glad they are back at what they do best.
Песня - шедевр! Альбом - шедевр! KORN, продолжайте в том же духе!
This is the good old korn I've missed
Корн - лучшие!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Korn is my top band, always! Seen them in 2020 before covid shut down and was the greatest birthday of my life! I love you Jonathan Davis and the whole band! Amazing band live!
Go back down south
glad to see the korn that i remember. welcome back guys!
exaaactly!
Vehementi
Where's the dark 90s Bakersfield sound? It's gone.
Cipry16 well they changed gear(amp setups an such) a few times since the first album but relatively stayed KORN up until untouchables
Message to Ray.
You are one of the best drummers I know. To be able to walk into a group after another departed and take off from when one began, hat tilted to you mate. So very talented. Love your side gigs too. Thank you Sir
Louder!
I remember those days!!! Limpbizkit, korn, slipknot fuckk man. those days are gone.
90's kidz!
Davis's singing voice is absolutely unique and BEAUTIFUL, cant describe it any other way
So glad Korn survived this long, anything they do or say is fine by me. True icons.
Korn will always be best band ever
i dont what everybody is bitching about. korn still sound fucking awesome even with the evident techno influences.
Im Batman they have had those influences for 20 years lol
Im Batman i really liked the Path to Totality album, it was something new , still heavy but still pretty badass
I LOVE WHEN JONATHAN DOES THE SCREAMING VOICE, LORD JESUS I WAS MISSING THAT KIND OF VOICE.....
I love KoRn, MY FAVORITE BAND !!!!!!!!
You also like Avril Lavigne c:
Their best song in a loong time
Dolorosakil i forgot to say IMO
Dolorosakil I loved it first listen, Nice opeth pic :)
I kinda hate my difficult name
NP thats why i said it
***** and he use to do meth
Listened to this song for the first time 4 days ago. I think I am on my 40th time listening. It is so freaking magnificent.
Jonathan Davis is absolutely inspiration and perseverarion man about the pain and the sickness, ever word is very strong and very deep from the black hole inside him.
Imo one of the best their music videos, I still dig Freak On A Leash and Falling Away from me videos more, but this is pretty amazing, best album since 2002
This song is dope! Man it's been 8 years I last listen to Korn. Thank god I am back to following them!
The guitar riff makes me levitate everytime
First song i heard off the new album and was hooked to korn again...head is the mannn.head fan for life
Their new drummer is awesome, and the f'ed up oldschool sound is back (and Head, of course). Korn is back. I also think this song is underrated. I know that never never's music video came out before Love and Meth, but this song should have racked up more views than never never by now. This is one of my favorite songs of the year, for sure.
this song live is crazy the crowd goes nuts I want to see them live so bad
+Christian Rivera I got to see Korn at their pinnacle way back in 99'. I saw them again in 02', 06', and 07'. His voice has lost a lot of power over the years, but that's to be expected. Go see them, you won't regret it. Best concerts I've been to by far. I would love to see them live now since this album came out. Love it!
Been clean 4 years no rehab literally called cold turkey this song hits diffrent when ur sober i saw how much in pain i was
Happy anniversary to me 14 years without crystal meth 😊
congratulations!
Hey! Congrats! I'm starting my 5th year sober. Stay strong ♡
@@SuuggestionKalaxy thanks almost there to add another year!
Congratulations!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
🙌🙌🙌👏
This album was so good. Being a long time Korn fan since the 90s, this album was right up there with the best of them.
SUCH an underrated track. That little electronic piano tune that drones over the heavy ass riff. Sounds so... I don't know how to put it... "Halloween-y"? So dark but melodic and fresh.
I love Korn, Korn forever!!!!!!!!
Thank youuuuuuu ☺you Rock, hugs
Yes, Korn forever guys!!!! Wow
I am a Korn addict, hugs
To be honest - one of the best Korn's songs ever.
Perfect mix between old & new records.
I'm so glad Head is back and thanks to him we have what a great record that Paradigm Shift is, and of course, absolute masterpiece and IMO, the best Korn record to this day - Serenity of Suffering.
i agree, but i think the paradigm shift is better/more creative than serenity of suffering
Nobody gives a fuck what you think Mecca if you didnt know Davis wears a kilt lmfao turn that "M" upside-down and shove those 3 fingers in your ass, ya fuckin poser }:->
+Lucius Melchizedek
Whoa, you must have anger issues, I am allowed to freely express my opinion of Korn's albums. I was well aware of the fact that Jonathan wears a kilt but I don't know or care for the reason why he wants to wear them. That has nothing to do with me liking their music anyway. There's no such thing as a poser, fuck off I like their music.
It has the iconic sound and is a great hit from them.
Jonathan's voice has held up incredibly well over the years. Long may he Reign !!!; ( OK that was over the top, but nevertheless !!!!❤
I was addicted to meth for a long time. Trust me when I say the visuals on this track are spot on. This is how you would illustrate the definition of meth without words. It’s almost hard for me to watch but I also can’t look away!
Go back on it.
@@Fusion991psychopath. Stop causing division
Korn lyrics are personal to me.
And oh yeah I am teach myself learn how to talk cuz I want to rock too
I don't know what everybody's complaining about.
These guys are the best band i have ever seen live. korn is a style all its own. live all songs they perform get you pumped and rowdy.
Whenever I have a hard time, I blast this song. :D
The chorus gives me life!!
listening to this almost 2 years later.....lovin it all over again.
Highly underrated Korn song in my opinion, maybe it’s the title or subject. I think it’s easily better than other top Korn songs considered their best. In fact it could be my all time favorite Korn song. The video is perfect also.
I agree this is a DAMN good song. The chorus is hypnotizing.
Korns discography is a life story of Millions of people locked up in their own world inside their Minds. And every mind is beautiful!
They are the best and will be forever
I've been a huge korn fan since I was like 8 and I'm 22 now so I'm more into their old skool stuff but this song goes hard
cool, i just found out about them last year
This video is exactly what meth feels like when it’s time to quit. Love you guys, helped me get sober
Korn ain’t a band man, it’s a nu metal legacy.
Korn used to be awesome!!! Freak on a leash... falling away from me etc. Then they played with skrillex and other dubstep derping fools... now korn is kinda getting back!! Yaay
Marvel 1996 NEVER HAVE I READ A TRUER WORD WRITTEN!
My favourite album of korn
Good to see korn going back to their old roots
Best korn song i've heard
It's got a great rhythm to it, love it.
Awesome to see them back!!!! & it was a honor to stand on the same stage
i love this song awsome
No matter what. When Korn is playing, you know it’s korn! Ef-omg amazing!
Aguante Korn!! Lo Mejor!
Their back! Finally one nearly like the old!
Korn is miles better than Slipknow, Static- X, S.O.D, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and all the other nu metal bands. Korn is unique.
Thank you for sharing your opinion on a comment I made 7 years ago.
My fav korn song
