I grew up in Marple during the 80's and 90's and it was quite a shock to the town when he got shot next to the Jolly Sailor pub. Things like that just didn't happen in Marple.
The truth of what happened got bent and twisted so much over the years that everyone had a different story about what really happened.
Lots of the school kids from Marple Hall would talk about how they saw him getting shot up against the wall of the pub and all sorts of other nonsense.
Our local pub the Windsor Castle in Edgeley had balloons up outside after he was shot

1985 Once sparred with Chris at Offerton Boxing Club before he turned Pro. He used to help the lads out there in the gym. He had a ferocious right hand. Sparked my lights out more than once. He was respected then.

Are you talking about Offerton Lads Club ? He offered me out for a spar in the boxing gym there when I was 17 but I gave it a miss, me being a featherweight, it was never gonna end well for me 🤣
He was not a hard man he was just a bully. I know many Stockport Pub fighters who could beat the shit out of him on the cobbles He had a load of kids follow him everywhere he went. They all crumbled when he was done.
He also showed his arse with the QSG not going out anywhere in Manchester. In fact when his killers parked the car they used to kill him at Bradbury Hall Night club the QSG stated that they hoped the police got to them before they did. Ffs speak to someone who knew exactly what happened not a person who wher biggining him up to make themselves look good.
I wonder how the people defending guys like him would feel if they were sat in a pub and he came up to them in a bad mood.

i was in nick container with chris . i found chris a decent chap tamworth and wymott yes you did not cross him i was his sparing partner tamworth container he was a strong chap.had a load whippetts run in for him in container stockport crew . i was get in shit inside liverpool lads as i was on other wing chris popped in anyone gets on my case he deal with it . i can honestly say he seamed a decent chap rip guy fawkes tamworth wymott

I remember chris when he was on the doors in stockport where i lived for a short while, I seem to remember him being tall and slim...he was a nice guy to me and my brothers ..RIP 😊

I’ve left a few replies already (scroll through comments) but just wanted to say this. I knew Chris Little and I know Nick Fisher and judging by the comments most people can’t have read the book. I have. And it’s spot on. And so is the vid. Yeah, Chris could be a bully and like Nick says he did a lot of things and hit a lot of people that he didn’t have to. But he was also a right hard fucker who feared no-one. As for those that are slating Nick, including so called mates (one of whom WAS a bully when he worked at the Blue Waterfall) well they’re two-faced w*nkers. Nick says in it that he was never a hardman or a gangster, he just knew a few. And not many ‘wannabes’ as he was described by a fake mate (or fake account) would stand up to A C. Others ran, Nick and Kendo stood their ground, which took some bottle considering A C supposedly had a gun. (I was at the Puss In Boots the night it happened.) And if push came to shove I’d rather have had Nick backing me up back in the day than half of those having a pop at him.

I know Nick myself. Good lad. Have you actually read the book? He says himself he wasn’t a fighter - or a gangster. Not sure why he’s getting slagged. (In particular off his so called mates like you and Stringer). Funny how you forgot to mention the time when Fisher stood up in Crown Court for you and said that he should be the one in the dock and not you. And didn’t he once threaten witnesses for you and Chris not to go to court against you and they didn’t and you got off and Nick ended up doing time for witnesses intimidation? Some mate you are. Cauliflower arse? The only time it happened he talks about in the book. You on other hand proper cauliflower arse. Little battered you good style at Fir Tree pub. You got filled in twice at the Blue Waterfall that I know of when you were on the door. And you wouldn’t even go outside when Burt Mot told you to get on the car park at the Grapes. And only a couple of years ago you got your cauliflower arse kicked when you tried fly tipping at the allotments on Reddish Vale and a bloke on there gave you a pasting.
