My findings with the Link EX Groove and DX-QR were very similar. I can use the Link EX Groove on the Korean/Crown base but not vice versa. Very nice work.
I'm so glad the other shafts work in the Samducksa bottom half. The EX Groove is PERFECT for battops. Only issue is that it's now way easier to try balltops and battops in the same stick, and you probably need a stronger spring for battops given the longer leverage.
I have the first link and i love it, wanted to buy ex groove but i’m still on the fense because it looks taller, are the heights between them identical or one is taller than the other?
Sorry for the late bump. If I am understanding correctly, if I want a second handle/shaft for use with my Victrix, say with bat style handle, the most compatible is the Link for Sanwa JLF. The Link EX Groove will work, but cannot support the weight of the stick . Is that right or did I misunderstand? Ideally, I would just like to have an additional QR top half with a bat style handle that I can just swap out on my Victrix.
those the french version of the SHAFT Qr could have a review ? focus attack is expensive on shipping i'm from the caribbean so they send to france then back to the west indies
This is such an oddly specific video but it ended up being really helpful for me! I got the Crown Quick Release kit along with a 309 MJ so that I could try a Korean lever without sacrificing the QoL of the Link EX Groove quick release that I'd gotten used to. After installing the Crown lever and quick release, I found that the Crown's top half felt like a mediocre rip off of the Link design (which it is), which kind of sucked. But now I know that I can actually use the top half of the EX Groove with the bottom half of the Crown. Thanks! EDIT: Unfortunately, like you mentioned in the video, the EX Groove top half is way more recessed when used with the Crown, to the point of being uncomfortable to use. RIP :(
