Et Tu Odunze? Let me know what you guys think below - is Rome Odunze WR2? Is it Malik Nabers? Or do you think it's someone else? I'd love to hear from you! Please let me know who else you guys wanna see as we get closer to the combine. Thanks all- Big Love
Yo man thought my team might be interested in Rome in the draft and stumbled on your channel love your take on football content keep it up bro you gonna blow up!
I want to see a stat on the bust rate for WRs that are taken in the first round but lack short area quickness. I imagine is very high but thats just my assumption. I think of players like Laquon Treadwell.
I actually did a small amount of research on this once I saw your comment and the results are predictably mixed. I found one study that measured success by salary and found that a slower 3 cone time and shorter height are both associated with increased salaries (it's important to note that this same study's conclusion was that not a single one of the combine tests has a statistically significant effect on a player's future salary). I found another study that said that there is a correlation between 10 yd dash times (acceleration) and success, but ultimately concluded that none of the combine tests have a significant correlation to NFL success.... all of that is to say that the only thing studies can agree on is that the combine tests are not a reliable indicator of future success. Considering the fact that there are multiple combine tests for short area quickness alone, this tends to show that there is not really a correlation between success and good/bad short area quickness. Of course, it's kind of impossible to measure because "success" is relative and there are a lot of factors that go into combine testing that may make a player look better or worse in their testing than they actually play on the field. For every Laquon Treadwell, there is also a DK Metcalf (whose 3 cone was slower than Tom Brady's). So I guess that question can't really be answered, but I'd love if someone had a reliable measurement for the correlation between the two things!
It LOOKS like he has zero burst speed, which is one of the most important attributes for WR in the NFL. I'm not certain if its because hes tall that he appears slower when in reality he's fast. He looks slow and if he truly has a 4.35 40 time, it looks like he has an issue translating it into game speed.
I found his speed to be a bit inconsistent. There were some plays where it looked like he turned on the burners a bit, but other times it looked like he wasn't able to win over the top. Not sure if he had a nagging injury or something and was playing through it, but that's how I felt. Ultimately, his game is not really to be a speedster and I think his speed is good enough to be a high level receiver.
D hop is not necessarily a burner. Football speed is different than timed speed. He has football speed. Honestly he reminds me of Mike Evans a little bit.
As many as I can fit in before the draft! I already have the voiceover recorded for three other prospects at the moment and just need to edit the videos. Anyone you'd like to see?
I have Nabers over Odunze as well, but only by a bit! They’re both very close for me. I wouldn’t be totally surprised if they drafted Odunze over Nabers because he has a very different skill set than their current WRs, but I ultimately think they’d go with who they believe is the best player.
@@TheJumboPackage His yards per team pass attempt is eerily similar to wrs that didn't have great careers. Also he kinda struggles to get separation early compared to Nabers
@@kingchristv7103 For sure higher ceiling. Rome Odunze they label him similar to devante Adams. Talk about idiotic. Not even close. I’d say more like Nkeal Harry 😂

Thanks man, I really appreciate that!!
Can't wait for the T'vondre Sweat breakdown. Dude is going to be a great addition to the Jumbo Package team
Hahahaha, you're right he would! Btw- almost been a year since you subscribed - happy almost anniversary haha. Thanks for watching!

He’s WR 4 For Me Behind AD Mitchell

Welcome to Chicago
Dude is deandre Hopkins. Go and get it and he’ll figure out how to do it. That’s the biggest compliment as a receiver.
He'll be a beast for sure!
how many of these breakdowns will you be doing?

marshawn Lloyd@@TheJumboPackage
Troy Franklin, Jermaine Burton, any of the group @ WR behind BTJ in consensus rankings would be appreciated
I personally have nabers over odunze, but if the giants, who desperately need an X and not a Z, went with Rome over nabers I wouldn't be suprised
Why would they just not take the better player

I think Nabers is in a different tier. Odunze has a few red flags when you compare him to previous wr busts
@@RocKaFella57 How so?

Nabers 2, Rome 3
That's what I got!
I’d Put AD Mitchell Above Him
i think they are interchangeable
HE HAS NO RELEASE PACKAGE AT ALL
I’m Sorry But He’s Not Better Than AD Mitchell
Wait til my AD Mitchell video comes out 👀
Crazy statement
Too damn slow. Route tree is trash. Relying too much on 50/50 balls. Recipe for disaster 👌🏼
Been Saying This He’s Not Better Than AD Mitchell
