Nice job! Just an observation, you could use Shadowfiend when your mana dropped to 80% and then you could use it in the final part when you had very little mana.
See many people do that mistake even on retail. People always wait for them to get oom before using mana cooldowns when they should pop it early for max benifit. It's the same with other CDS
@@Adrytl yeah pretty much this. I actually paused the video to see how long the fight took just to think about how much earlier you could have used it to be able to get it out twice.
@@badderen92 Exactly!!! The main rule is: "KEEP YOUR COOLDOWNS ON COOLDOWN" In wotlk this wasn't an issue in ICC patch, especially not with double solace cheat hack! But in cata mana is in fact an issue.
The heroic dungeons seemed relatively easy but we also did have full pre-raid bis, so i think the first couple weeks they'll be challenging. The raid difficulty felt good and challenging. Even in full 359 (10/25m normal gear) it was challenging to keep people up without burning a lot of mana. One of the reasons I'm in serenity chakra more than sanctuary
Quick tip, you couldve have 2 Shadowfiends i always use at the begining of the fight so cd comes up once more in transition where you can combine it with mana hymn. You can use Intelect pot before Divine Hymn itll boost healing so you wont need 2 big cds :). Good gameplay otherwise :)
I never understood people "farming" fights on beta and when the patch hits live, suddenly they wanna "e-flex" that their server first on the kill?! Come off it! It's much more fun to "learn" the fight (even though cata has been out on retail for over a decade now) than to farm wipes on beta and then smoothen it out on live... Just my opinion... FYI: No Holy paladins in the raid? Hmmm, that's weird... I remember in cata retail they were the ones that NEVER had mana issues here.
I'm glad they did. Here you can see Disc does comparable HPS while also doing 3.4 mil dmg. Zero reason to bring a Holy Priest unless it's 25man and you can't find anyone else.
@@iRavenTM Nah Holy priest is great healer esp this tier but has high skill cap so the disparity between an average holy priest and a skilled one is very apparent
@@iRavenTM I find that Holy priests are maybe the best healers in a scuffed PUG scenario where the raid is clumsy, holy can pump heals when needed like no other healers. If you look at the RBG ladder, it's all Holy priests at the top for a reason
What gear did you guys have here? FUll pre-bis or normal gear or hc gear setup?
Full 359 epics which is equivalent to normal 10/25 man. Set bonuses weren’t working though, at least mine wasn’t
@@Adrytl Cheers man!
@@Adrytl was the gear pre made? or did you farm full 359 before entering Heroic?
That lust timing was possibly the worst lol
they could have at least made the sleep faster xD
Which raid frames are u using ?
Default UI raid frames

Yes I agree, now that I know about how long a kill will take I can plan cooldowns more efficiently

Nice video! I love holy. What's your feeling on the beta so far? Are raids and dungeons reasonably hard or nerfed down to earth?

name of the add ons on your UI sir Like it alot
The only addon I’m using here is Details damage meter, everything else is the default UI including the raid frames
Is Heal a good spell to use??? It heals for such a little amount.
cheap way to apply buffs that is all
@@winslowpippleton7157 good point
just a mana efficient filler spell to keep renew going and proc surge of lights

interesting opinion but it's not that serious my guy, this is a pug from LFG on the beta with bunch of randoms

Lets normalize not putting holy/disc together in 10 mans
Kinda of a strange this to see lol 😂
