Every Mario series has its own 3D style. Mario Party and Smash Bros seem more "epic", while Mario+Luigi and Mario Wonder seem more cartoony.

Maybe it was made for other consoles and they just downscaled the graphics and didn't bother making the Switch version look good

What I want with this incredible Mario and Luigi saga, is for them to make the most incredible songs they've ever done, like bowser inside or a boss fight, honestly the best start I've seen in a long time,
