Lovebites once covered the song "Eagle Fly Free" from Helloween. Helloween is also one of Haruna's idol bands, the Lovebites Drummer.

One of the favorite M&M songs that they love to perform LIVE. BTW Helloween is one of Haruna/drums favorite bands and they did a cover of Eagle Fly Free during the COVID lock-down (Miyako also did a sensational piano cover of the song that is stunning to experience). Here we get the insane LIVE talent this band is so well known for. They often surprise but NEVER disappoint especially LIVE. Miyako was 4/5 months pregnant during this show and still rocked out on piano, guitar, synth and keytar. This show was amazing but Asami and Haruna really shined as this was the dead venue COVID show where only clapping was allowed from a socially distant and 50% capacity crowd.
These Japanese ladies you watch your assess. They maybe not the most well known band in the world at the moment but they watch other great bands they can put their hands on and put them into their music and create even more improve, better and great songs. You watch Lovebites in the next 5-10 years I will be surprise if they are not one of the dominant musicians worldwide. They are like the Toyota and Honda of the automobile world that outclassed the Ford and General Motors American giants.

Here some information about them:
The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have already recorded 4 full length studio albums, in addition some EPs and Singles and a bunch of live albums, available on CD and DVD/Blu-ray.
In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also recently in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest.
They will start their first US tour in a few weeks.
In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“.
A new EP and a live album will be released on august 28. There are already some videos on their TH-cam channel.

Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop
Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger):

LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.
The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP".
On 11 June 2018, LOVEBITES won '🏆BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER.
On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full.

On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.
LOVEBITES toured the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK from November 13-21, 2018.
Asami (Vo) of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm "Download Japan 2019(March 21)", singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's 'Love Bites', which gave the band their name.
LOVEBITES performed as a support band for "Arch Enemy's China tour at the Shanghai show on March 23 and the Beijing show on March 24, 2019".
LOVEBITES participated in "dowload Festival 2019(June 15)".

Funny you mention helloween, they actually do an amazing cover of eagle fly free by helloween and the guitarist miyako does a beautiful cover of the same song with a piano cover.
Generally, drummers have fewer opportunities to be in the spotlight than lead guitarists and vocalists. However, in each of the LOVEBITES live videos released from last year (2023) to this year, it seems that there are more scenes capturing Haruna's heroic figure. Also, it seems that the audio has been edited so that the drum sound can be heard more clearly than before. The new Blu-ray that arrived yesterday (August 27th, Japan time) contains a nearly two-minute drum solo by Haruna, so I think she is getting even more attention. It's a happy trend.

Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, named for a song by HaleStorm, 'Love Bites (so do I)' and formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in a band called Destrose that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Miho is a big fan of Steve Harris, bass player with Iron Maiden and is influenced by his playing style. She left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects.
Any Lovebites video recorded in 2021 or earlier, the basist will be Miho, any from 2022 or later, it is 'new girl' Fami.
Shadowmaker is one of Lovebites earliest songs, and it helped them get their record contract.
The present members are,
Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker.
Midori, ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior'
Miyako, Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She recently posted a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcibed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman.
Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos.
Fami, Bass. The 'new girl', recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was about 16.
Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been in Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. I saw Lovebites live in London recently, and watched Haruna in awe. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long.
All members of the band can play piano/keyboards.
They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023.
