it does look great, however the car I feel like suffers from the "hotboy fitment" syndrome, and would have performed better when raised an inch, running closer to Zero rear camber and some slightly narrower wheels. At a certain point the suspension geo just suffers and you get the vibe that the car is not as capable as it could be.
Charlie Karalys it’s red and black for sure but definitely still “stock”engine etc. Whole rear end is basically from an s13. Definitely still an I4, but an LS would terrifying (and tight as hell) with that wheel base
Also get a sony action cam. They last so much longer battery wise. I had a hero 8 ad my old FDXR-3000 whatever it's called and when the gopro died the sony had 4 of 5 battery bars left.
I still can't imagine the reaction and the look in the face of anyone who was watching a civic drifting for the first time in their life great build ❤️
Man I've been a huge fan of this build from start to finish. Lord knows the level of engineering and ingenuity that went into this whole project. And then to see it gracefully sliding around the track was just the piece de resistance. This was such a dope journey and I already know the whole team leveled up just off the experience alone. Don't be surprised when people start hitting you up with 10-15k to do it to their original EM1s lol.
Civics would literally be everywhere for any type of build their number one problem in drag racing is grip so that would be interesting to see as well they would also be the Kings of roll racing putting down all that power smoothly instead of redlining your shit till it gets grip
Honda gave the other manufacturers a chance. That's the way I see it. Look at the giant following civics have. So many die hard fans, including myself for a car considered wrong wheel drive. If it were RWD, it'd be over for other JDM cars. Some of the most efficient, high revving engines, strongest and most satisfying transmissions, along with rwd and that awesome handling of a little civic?
@Moe Green I dont know those bodys surprisingly have a lot of flex. Some tack guys even prefer to not run strut bars because the front end flex can actually give more grip on some setups. Would probably be faster on track as a FWD car.
Such amazing camera work on todays video. The car was always in frame, the pans were super smooth, the camera wasn't shaky and the zoom levels were always perfect

i prefer watching videos of low powered cars, having one car with low power and one with a lot seems like they are the most entertaining channels. The low powered cars take a lot of skill to drive and whip around, that’s just my opinion
Drifting with a ton of tire smoke is like witnessing a tornado with a well defined condensation funnel that isnt rain wrapped. You need the perfect conditions and a good driver for that to happen. Sure you could juice out out 700hp and break it every day you drive it. But thats just not as fun.
I can’t imagine the civic with a fully built KA OR SR THAT THING WILL BE RIPPING AT EVENTS AND DRAG STRIPS PROBABLY WEIGHS LESS THEN RUDNICKS SR ROADSTER
AUSTIN Don’t forget about the weight reduction cutting up the chassis he can reduce a lot more weight using carbon fiber doors from seibon, fenders, hood, Trunk. What ever he wants trust it’ll weight less then a miata

Hey Jimmy, a nice alternative to a grill is using the 99-00 Civic sedan grill. They have 2 vents and the chrome trim is also pretty pimp.
It would be cheaper and more effective to just buy an eBay mesh si grille

Ek Ej chassis are smooth asf. Even on stock form from factory i feel like i drove a playstation. Power is problem, how about LS?

Coupes and sedans maybe. Hatchbacks are made to be either fwd or awd. Depending on power. 300+ imo is for awd. Anything below is okay with fwd
