In today's video, I had a chance to chat with Zander Ong, a current A-level student at KYUEM and an offer holder to Magdalene College, Cambridge, where he will be reading Law, beginning from Fall 2024. During this interview, we talked about his Cambridge interview for Law, LNAT, his work and preparation with KYUEM, his diverse interests inclusive of Chinese debate and psychology and many other pleasant and wonderful things along the way, which were a real treat to discuss and to think about.
This conversation was a conversation about law and morality and many other different things along the way, featuring a discussion about what constitutes a right law, what constitutes moral laws. I kind of gave Xander a bit of trouble here by asking him to go through a bunch of different legal reasoning things - Not necessarily because I'm aware of how the law works, but rather because I don't know how a person would go about justifying these things; we also talked about his YH2 Capital scholarship, which he's effectively passing on by having talked about it in this scholarship... Causing history to repeat itself.
If you're a prospective Cambridge student and you'd like to apply for the YH2 Capital scholarship, please take note of the deadlines and application information here: www.yh2capital...
It was a really incredible learning experience and a wonderful chance to experience what it was like to talk to one of Malaysia's future and finest legal minds.
Thank you for the wonderful chat, Zander!
